This is not an inexpensive meal by Riviera Maya standards, but it is not an expensive meal by North American Standards. Count on $50 USD per person for your dinner with moderate drinking. For this view, this level of service and the great main dishes, you would be paying three to four times this price outside of Mexico.

Dress is smart casual, wine list is great, and their artisanal beer list impressive.

Their culinary mantra is fresh local foods with European influences. Your will find locally crafted sauces, fresh produce and beautiful presentation. This is not tacos on a plate, it is a place to celebrate culinary diversity. Attention to detail is found in both the service and the cuisine.

Pavo Real By The Sea Restaurant is located on in Kin Sol Soleil Hotel. There are no signs, well there is a one but it is hidden, but there is an iconic restaurant on the highway that is the entrance to the restaurant and hotel property. Turn at the Burger Bar on Hwy 307. There is a little gate where all restaurant patrons need to check in. Your taxi can drive you into the restaurant. If you are a local and have taken on the task of designated driver for the evening, you will be asked to park your car at the gate and a driver will take you into the restaurant. This is a wonderful treat and we love being driven onto the property.
