Chamico’s Is a Hidden Treasure Close to Tulum

Soliman Bay

Chamico’s Restaurant & Beach Club in Soliman Bay is one of the most overlooked places in the Riviera Maya.

We like Chamico’s because of its intimate space and charm. It has a unique, beachy, family vibe that distinguishes it from tourist and crowded beach sites.

Perfect For Families

If you are staying in Soliman Bay or close by, Chamico’s Restaurant is the perfect option to hang out during the day.

It is within walking distance from any of the properties in Soliman Bay. There is no access fee. You can also enjoy family-friendly services like the onsite playground, children’s food menu, life jackets and snorkeling, and kayak rental. The water there is perfectly calm, and it has a shallow entrance, which makes it perfect for kids. Clean bathrooms, great food, and prices are also a plus.

Beach, Water Sports & Food

Soliman Bay is one of the nicest beaches in the area and can be perfect for special events like weddings, celebrations, family gatherings, and photo shoots.

The water is very clear, and there are reefs nearby at Chamico’s Restaurant, which creates a wonderful environment for water sports. Kayaks and snorkeling gear are available for rent. We recommend bringing your own beach towels, sunblock, etc.

You can easily eat at Chamico’s for $200.00 pesos per person. Its fresh fish, fried bananas, beer, shrimps, and more, are available at affordable prices. The restaurant also has the best guacamole in the area.

There is enough space for everyone to relax, and plenty of tables and hammocks to bring your family and friends. The service is friendly and fast. The waiters can keep an eye on your stuff while you are swimming. There are no lockers, but showers and bathrooms are available at no extra cost.

Visiting For The Day

Chamico’s Restaurant & Beach Club is open every day from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The restaurant is located in Soliman Bay, a small beach community between Akumal and Tulum.

Getting there is a bit tricky because Chamico’s is located at the end of Soliman Bay Road, which is about three kilometers from the freeway. If you go by collectivo, it will drop you off at the entrance of the road. But you’ll have to walk quite a bit to get there. It’s best to get there by car. If you do not have your own car, we can happily arrange a driver to provide round-trip transportation, no matter the size of your group.

If you are interested in making a reservation for a large group or securing transportation for the day, don’t forget to send us an e-mail to [email protected] We will be happy to help!
