Maya park

The Lost Maya Kingdom Park near Mahaual is somewhere between an eco park and a water park. Ziplines, water slides and a lazy river float make it a great day for all ages.

Puerto Aventuras Beach

Puerto Aventuras, rightly renowned for its marina, has some lovely beaches that can be enjoyed during your stay. With few vacationers knowing about the beaches of Puerto Aventuras, you will have the shore of the Caribbean to yourself or at least feel like you have it to yourself. Families like the intimacy felt on these beaches that provide a great playground for children.

Car Wash cenote

Car Wash, also known by its Mayan name Aktun Ha, is filled with fresh water fish – Cenote Mollys – and vegetation. Entrance is easy, the cenote is good for all ages, though children and swimmers who are not as comfortable in the water should have life jackets.

Cenote Azul Bacalar

This is an all day affair and well worth the ridiculously cheap entrance fee. Cente Azul feels more like a small lake than a cenote but it is part of the cavern system. All water activities can be done here including paddle boarding, swimming, and kayaking. There is also a full-service restaurant that overlooks the cenote. The restaurant is huge and is quite popular with both visitors and locals.

Tulum ruins

The greatest attraction at the Tulum Ruins is its location. The Caribbean views continue to be described as spectacular and breath-taking.
