Following the resounding success of two interactive all-female Artisan Markets, Ladies Who Lunch/Chicas Who Chat is proud to announce this month’s market on Saturday, May 12th from 12 pm to 5 pm at La Zebra Hotel on Tulum Beach. An organic extension of the growing conscious sisterhood known as Ladies Who Lunch/Chicas Who Chat, the market was conceived to showcase local female artists, clothing and jewelry designers, purveyors of organic food and skin products, wellness practitioners, chefs, and more.
This Saturday’s market will feature live music by Coco Son and Mulberry Project Craft Cocktails. An Antojitos and Mezcal market, a special ala carte “Art With Me Dishes” – Orchestra of Things workshop and showcase by Diego Clark along with locally designed clothing, art, photography and organic products can all be found at this weekends Artisan Market by Ladies Who Lunch – Chica’s Who Chat.
Started by Suzan Crane in July 2016 as a vehicle to “meet cool women,” the first of the group’s monthly lunches was attended by a scant 13 people. In January 2018, the gathering attracted 66 women with a waiting list. The Ladies Who Lunch/Chicas Who Chat Tulum facebook page is growing at an astounding rate with women who live full or part-time in the area using the forum to network, communicate, help, support, and organize charitable projects. The goal of the group has evolved into something way more proactive than simply meeting for lunch once a month. Our members are involved in many initiatives including animal welfare, recycling, beach clean-up, children and indigenous concerns, and more.
We now exist as a diverse and ever-evolving group of strong, passionate, interesting, beautiful, and talented women ranging in age and cultural backgrounds who are bound by the common thread of humanity and sisterhood… and positively impacting our community.
