Following the resounding success of our first Interactive all-female Artisan Market last December, Ladies Who Lunch/Chicas Who Chat is proud to announce the second installment on Sunday, March 11th from 10 am to 6 pm at Alumbra on Beach Road in Tulum. An organic extension of the growing conscious sisterhood known as Ladies Who Lunch/Chicas Who Chat, the market was conceived to showcase local female artists, clothing and jewelry designers, purveyors of organic food and skin products, wellness practitioners, chefs, and more.

Come and experience the market

In addition to the remarkable talent represented, the LWL/CWC Artisan Market is further distinguished by its cool jungle vibe, exciting live entertainment, eclectic food court (featuring Turkish cuisine to Tapas, Mexican standards to Crepes, and much in between!), and wellness area offering massage, biomagnetism, tarot, kin maya, and crystal readings. An organic wine/artisan beer bar and an organic coffee station will also be onsite.

But perhaps the most pronounced difference between this and other markets — and the reason to support this event — is our dedication to community and benefaction, with 20% of vendors’ rent and all sponsorship donations (from LocoGringo and Colibri Boutique Hotels) earmarked for charity. And finally, we are honored to provide free space to local non-profits, enabling them to promote, disseminate information, and garner donations and volunteers.

About Ladies Who Lunch/Chicas Who Chat Tulum

Started by Suzan Crane in July 2016 as a vehicle to “meet cool women,” the first of the group’s monthly lunches was attended by a scant 13 people. In January 2018, the gathering attracted 66 women with a waiting list. The Ladies Who Lunch/Chicas Who Chat Tulum facebook page is growing at an astounding rate with women who live full or part-time in the area using the forum to network, communicate, help, support, and organize charitable projects. The goal of the group has evolved into something way more proactive than simply meeting for lunch once a month. Our members are involved in many initiatives including animal welfare, recycling, beach clean-up, children and indigenous concerns, and more.

We now exist as a diverse and ever-evolving group of strong, passionate, interesting, beautiful, and talented women ranging in age and cultural backgrounds who are bound by the common thread of humanity and sisterhood… and positively impacting our community.
