Welcoming guests to immerse themselves in the beauty of Riviera Maya, this 3 bedroom condo features mesmerizing views of the ocean. Gaze upon blue waters from it’s fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area which includes a dining set for six. The living room area also offers expansive views and when the large glass sliding doors are opened the ocean breeze runs through the condo for a refreshing breath of air. The expansive covered and furnished terrace is the perfect communal spot to enjoy beachfront views from sunrise to sundown. 

Each bedroom has its own bath, the master bedroom has a king size bed, the main guest room has a queen size bed. The third bedroom is a delightful street side suite with a kitchenette, entertainment center, king size bed and view of the jungle. 

Playa Blanca invites you to experience the adventure of the Yucatan jungle. Nearby cenotes are accessible by tour or vehicle, as well as countless Mayan ruins, including Coba, Tulum and Chichen Itza and Ek’ Balam. Natural eco-parks in the area, including Xel-Ha, Xcaret, Aktun Chen and others, offer swimming and snorkeling in protected coves and underground caves, wildlife tours, jungle zip-lines, and access to dolphins, turtles and tropical fish. Further south is Tulum, the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage site of tropical forests, mangroves, marshes, and an extensive live barrier reef.

Wonderful restaurants are a short stroll away on Half Moon Bay, including La Lunita and La Buena Vida for beach front dining. Downtown is a short bicycle ride or walk away, this small Mexican village has all essentials for a stress free vacation. A small grocery store, a pharmacy and numerous shops showcasing local crafts. More great restaurants line its small streets.

Swing by La Taverna for incredible Italian food, Lol-Ha for Mexican fare and great people-watching, La Cueva del Pescador for fresh fish and lobster, and Imelda’s Ecocina for more local cuisine. Turtle Bay Café and Bakery is a breakfast highlight and more. Great ice cream, local crafts and a great happy hour.

Our family had the best week in Akumal. The condo was comfortable and provided everything we could ever have wanted. The huge balcony was a great place to have coffee, read, and just sit and look at the beauty surrounding us. While this was our third time in Akumal, it was our first time on the other side of the village and we absolutely loved walking into the village, to Yul-Ha, and had our choice of places to eat and drink only minutes away. Being able to snorkel right out front was an extra bonus. We couldn't have asked for anything better!

Our family had the best week in Akumal. The condo was comfortable and provided everything we could ever have wanted. The huge balcony was a great place to have coffee, read, and just sit and look at the beauty surrounding us. Throughout the week, as we both relaxed at the condo/beach and explored many areas of the Yucatan peninsula, we commented on how smooth things went in large part because of Akumal Direct and its seamless coordination and the outstanding concierge services. Plus, the condo itself was perfectly appointed and super comfortable!

Es un lugar excelente, super amplio, acogedor, con muchos detalle que hacen muy agradable el ambiente, vistas maravillosas, el aire acondicionado y ventiladores funcionan de maravilla, su cocina muy equipada. Alrededor muy tranquilo. Los encargados nos advirtieron del sargazo (que obviamente no se puede controlar) pero eso no arruinó nuestras vacaciones. Tuvimos oportunidad de ver nacer tortugas y nadar con ellas en otra bahia. Es un lugar para los amantes de la naturaleza pero que nos gusta disfrutar de buena vida. Seguro que volveré pronto. El encargado en la noche muy amable y atento. Quien estaba limpiando el lugar de día nos ayudó con las maletas también. Todos muy amables y atentos.

This is a beautiful 3rd floor condo right on Half Moon Bay just north of Akumal. Very comfortable and nicely furnished. We greatly enjoyed it. With our party of five, we had plenty of room and there were lots of games available for evening family time.

The view is amazing. The decor is fun and eclectic. Beds where comfy. Spacious bathrooms and each room has its own. Beach access has great sand and is cleaned each morning. Easy parking. Cons: Stove did not work you could smell the gas but would not lite. Showers are huge but terrible water pressure. Small little ants in kitchen. Didn't realize the third bedroom is not attached at all. The wind bangs the hurricane shutters around all night taking away from the ocean noise. Third floor provides nice view but a huge work out when bring stuff up and down. No pool..looks like there was one at one time. Over all nice condo with large porch for stairing out at the beautiful sea.

We had a lovely stay in the condo and the people from Akumal Direct was very helpful. We were a little disappointed that the beach does not have sandy bottom and you need to wear shoes for a dip, but we found Xpu-Ha beach 15 km from the condo and it’s probably one of the best beaches I’ve ever seen. They have a lovely new beach club that was very affordable and nice bathrooms etc. The apartment itself was very nice. As nice as the pictures. Akumal is super nice. We rented bikes and had really nice meals every day, to be honest I would much rather be in Akumal than Tulum or Playa del Carmen. The Condo is in a nicely gated area and it’s clean and nice everywhere you go.
