Perched on the 4th floor above Half Moon Bay, Nikte Ha 8 gives you a front-row view of the Caribbean. The penthouse's expansive oceanfront terrace is the star of the home, creating a breezy outdoor living space for morning coffee, afternoon lounging, and evenings overlooking the water.

Inside, the open living and dining area keeps the sea in view and connects directly with the terrace, making it easy to move between indoor comfort and outdoor living.

The Home

The condo's bright living spaces provide plenty of room to relax together after a day at the beach. A full kitchen makes breakfast, snacks, and meals at home convenient, while Half Moon Bay restaurants are close by when you'd rather dine out.

Both bedrooms are located on the 4th-floor penthouse level. The primary bedroom has a King bed, while the second bedroom offers a particularly flexible setup for families and friends. Its King bed can be separated into two Single beds, and two trundle beds provide additional sleeping space.

Central air conditioning is provided throughout the condo. A Smart TV, Wi-Fi, and an in-unit washer and dryer add the comforts and conveniences that make longer stays easy.

Beach & Pool

Head downstairs to the shared beachfront swimming pool for a refreshing break between beach days and exploring Akumal.

Half Moon Bay's reef makes this a popular spot for snorkeling when sea conditions allow. The natural shoreline includes areas of sand, rock, and coral, so water shoes are recommended for entering the water.

The Oceanfront Terrace

The large private terrace is one of the best reasons to choose Nikte Ha 8. From its elevated position, you can enjoy broad views across Half Moon Bay and plenty of space to settle into the Caribbean rhythm.

Bring breakfast outside in the morning, relax in the shade during the afternoon, or enjoy the sea breeze as the day winds down.

The Location

Nikte Ha sits directly on Half Moon Bay, close to restaurants and within easy reach of Yal-Ku Lagoon. Akumal Bay offers additional dining, shops, snorkeling, and dive services nearby.

When you're ready to explore beyond Akumal, cenotes, eco-parks, Tulum, and other Riviera Maya attractions are easily reached by car.

Good to Know

• Nikte Ha 8 is located on the 4th floor.
• Nikte Ha has an elevator, but service can be inconsistent. When operational, we recommend using it for luggage and groceries only and using the stairs for regular access.
• Central air conditioning is provided throughout the condo.
• The second bedroom's King bed can be converted into two Single beds and also includes two trundle beds.
• Housekeeping is provided Monday through Saturday.
• An in-unit washer and dryer are provided.
• The Half Moon Bay shoreline naturally includes areas of sand, rock, and coral. Water shoes are recommended.
• The beachfront swimming pool is shared with other Nikte Ha guests.
• Beach towels and purified drinking water are provided.
• A crib and high chair are available upon request for an additional fee.
• Cook service and additional concierge services can be arranged for an additional fee.
• Half Moon Bay can experience seasonal sargassum. Conditions vary naturally with winds, currents, and weather and cannot be guaranteed.

We really enjoyed our vacation rental. The only improvement would be a functioning elevator in our building because one of us has mobility issues and found climbing the stairs very difficult.

We loved our stay in Akumal! It was our second time there and I’m already looking forward to when we can return! The condo was well equipped, super comfortable beds and very cozy common area with large couches to really kick back on. The refrigerator is hooked up to two large jugs of filtered water so you have all the water and ice you need for your stay! Very nice touch. You’re only steps away from the beach and a short walk from La Buena Vida — the best little ocean front restaurant! The vibe is just fantastic. We can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed everything about our stay in Nikte Unit 8! The condo location was amazing. We had an amazing view of the beach from our balcony and also had a jungle view from the guest bedroom. The photos on the website are quite accurate. The water off the beachfront was perfect for snorkeling. There are some rocks you need to get over in order to get into the water, so bring swimming shoes. The unit was very clean and the maid service was exceptional. The kitchen had all the amenities you would expect. The Brighteyes management team was very responsive to any questions we had. We would defintely go back there again.

Akumal remains a unique destination to enjoy the beauties that the Mexican Caribbean offers. It was our first time staying in a condominium, previously we had always rented a villa at Aventuras Akumal. The stay in general was pleasant. There is a need for better information on the website regarding the current situation of the sargassum, although it is mentioned, it is not reported correctly. Mentioning that there may be the presence of sargassum is not enough, the geographic location of Akumal and the knowledge of its currents allows access to reliable information about the places in the bay that during the seasons of the year suffer from a greater presence of sargassum, as well as the residents knowing what the plan and/or projects are regarding the collection of sargassum by municipalities and colonies (municipal, state, federal or private attention), this information would definitely be of great help to better choose the area to stay.

The management/director of the building can improve a lot. If there are urgent repair works that could affect the guests, the least that can be done is to inform them (phone numbers and email accounts of the guests are available), a note can be left on the door, management can be aware of the movement of the guests to approach and communicate the situation, not doing so and simply letting the guest encounter the adverse situation is a sign of poor service. A daily inspection of the building facilities in the morning and in the afternoon would allow to know the state of the facilities of the building, waiting for a guest to report the malfunction or total breakdown of the elevator does not speak well of the manager's/director's ability to command and control.

The cleaning, security and maintenance workers of the property were extremely kind and friendly.

The sea and the surroundings of Akumal are still phenomenal.

We will return to Akumal!

Our family of four had a great week at the Nikte condos. The place was very neat and clean. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen is fully outfitted with all pots, pans, dishes. Daily maid service was very nice to keep dishes clean and sand off the floors. The pool was great for our small children. The convenience store across the street was nice for last minute items. Highly recommended!!

I'd never used a local booking company. Akumal Direct was great to work with. Communication through email or text were always answered promptly. The property was clean and the pool was a delight! The elevator was down as stated in the reservation; you have a 50/50 chance of it working. We, of course, stayed on the top level... Movement and exercise are good for ya!!~ On that note, we rented a golf cart and Akumal Direct helped reserve. They drop off/pick up at the property for a fee, that I gladly paid! The Sargassum was low while we were there, however, we had one windy day and the staff came and cleaned it up. Live with Nature, it isn't going anywhere. All n All a fantastic stay!!~ Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at Nikte Unit 8! The whole booking process went seamlessly, great communication from Akumal Direct and David the concierege.
The Unit is spotless and the entire building and grounds beautifully maintained. Everything is exactly as pictured, the views are breathtaking. I definitely recommend this unit and Akumal Direct.

Unit was very clean and exceeded expectations. Great place to stay. Only minor thing was had asked for 2nd bedroom to be made into two twins and that was not done before arrival. Other than that everything was perfect.

Absolutely perfect location! Amazing views! The unit was well furnished and clean. House keeping was amazing. The pool was clean and the facility was well cared for. Very easy to check in, they even stayed 15 minutes past their hours because we were running late.

Tips: the beach is rocky so bring water shoes. Also plan for the elevator to work intermittently - there will be days where you can only take the stairs. Stop to get your major groceries in Puerto Aventuras - the kitchen is basic so do not plan elaborate meals/prep.

We booked our condo for a wedding in Akumal. The condo was very nice and clean. Staff was super helpful when we needed them. There was a lot of seaweed or sargosa that prevented us from swimming out in the ocean but the pool was a great alternative. Overall the unit was nice with very comfortable furniture and beds. Can't wait to return.

Loved our condo stay on Half Moon Bay. Decor and kitchen appliances all modern, with very comfortable foam-top king beds in both rooms. Staff very friendly and pre-arrival concierge services from David made everything hassle-free.
