Experience a beachfront vacation with all the commodities of home in Half Moon Bay's most recent construction. Well appointed in Akumal’s most popular getaway known for its excellent location and amazing snorkeling, this 2 bedroom condo is an excellent vacation rental for up to 7 guests. This beach level unit offers stunning views of the Caribbean Sea from sunrise to sunset.

Prepare delicious meals gazing at the ocean from its fully equipped kitchen with marble countertops, bar style table and dining set. The living room area also features ocean views, an entertainment station, and even a sofa that converts to a full bed for additional bedding. The furnished poolside deck allows for endless hours of fun just steps away from the beach. Guests sleeping in the master bedroom with en suite will rest in a king size bed overlooking the ocean from it’s the tall sliding glass door. The garden side guest bedroom has a double and twin bed, an en suite bathroom, tall glass windows and tropical plants to provide additional privacy.

Nikte condominiums are centrally located in the heart of Akumal allowing its guests to enjoy the very best this sleepy one road town has to offer. Barely spanning over a 1.5mi in length along the coastline, guests can easily arrive at Yal Ku Lagoon and Akumal Bay by foot, bike or golf cart. Akumal is known all over Riviera Maya for more than just great snorkeling, it also has great eateries, excellent dive shops, grocery stores, a day spa and beach clubs making it the ideal destination for stress free vacations. Of course, the more adventurous travellers will be able to explore Riviera Maya’s many fascinating attractions only a short drive away. Nearby activities include day trips to archaeological sites, eco-parks, golf courses, and the cities of Playa del Carmen and Tulum.

Great spot right on the beach and right in between the best place in Akumal to have breakfast and the best place to have dinner. The pool is super fun with kids and even with some seaweed on the beach, you can walk down the bay a little and there is less seaweed. Just down the road there is laguna too where there is an entry fee but never seaweed.

Nikte #2 was perfectly located with easy access to beachfront, pool, and at least one terrific walkable beachfront restaurant (La Buena Vida). It also offered easy day trips to Xel-Ha, Tulum, and even Chichen Itza. The condo's views were spectacular (best master bedroom view we've ever had) and the accommodations were pristine upon arrival with a very easy and flexible check-in process.

Relaxing Condo on the beach in a chill town

Our stay at Nike 2 was great! The location is beautiful, you can snorkel right off the beach in front of the condo (it is a bit rocky so water shoes are helpful) or you can go to the Yal Ku lagoon. The property is very clean, the housekeepers and maintenance are very available and attentive.
The cons: The beds are very firm. The 2nd bedroom has a full/double and a twin. It is really is suitable for children if you want to fit three in the room. The pull out part of the couch (even with maintenance coming to show us how to pull it out) dove down on one edge - making it suitable for only one person to sleep on it. I would say overall the condo sleeps 5 comfortably (and thankfully this is all we had) The internet was slower than expected for fiber - we had no outages but the wifi was weak. A new router might help solve that issue. David was very helpful with airport transport and golf cart/bicycle rentals. We did stop at the grocery store on the way and this would be something I recommend as the stores in town are limited.Leticia gave us a good contact for a 2 day car rental.

Great condo, great management, maid service and maintenance crew. Property was very large and comfortable, fully stocked kitchen for cooking and serving. Extra effort to supply thermal cups, wine glasses, kids cups and tons of storage and serving kitchen wares.

The condo is lovely, and equiped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The pool and the beach are right there, and the view is spectacular. Management was extremely helpful. There are a couple of restaurants walking distance from the condo and a small convenience store across the street. And you can drive to the town for more restaurants and Tulum and Playa del Carmen are 20 minutes away. Akumal is small and peaceful.

This place is huge and RIGHT ON the beach. The beach is very private and quiet. A great place to be. We were a family there at the end of a few weeks exploring and we really enjoyed the quiet downtime the area offered.

Had a hard time deciding if we should stay in a hotel or Airbnb. With 2 teenage girls I was so glad we did the Airbnb and had the extra space. The place is immaculate! Had everything a hotel would offer and so much more! Plenty of space, cleaning daily, stocked kitchen, water toys, beach towels and more! Very safe, in a guarded area. Location is great and near several restaurants in walking distance. Beach is literally right there! Parts of the beach were off limits due to seaweed but we just walked down the beach a bit to get in. Highly recommend the Monkey Sanctuary a few miles away. A little store is directly across from the condo and a slightly larger convenience store is a few minutes down the road. We also drove into Akumal to get a few items. Would love to come back!

Because Nikte 2 is on the ground level, our view of the pool and ocean just beyond made us feel as though we were in our own private villa. The attractive design, daily maid service, and convenient location within walking distance of two of Akumal's best restaurants all contributed to our wonderful week of beauty and relaxation. We also appreciated the attentive service provided by David, the concierge, who cheerfully answered our many questions in advance and made very helpful arrangements for our transportation needs to and from the Cancun airport and during our stay in Akumal. A plumbing problem that resulted in no water in the building for several hours the first day was the only hitch and was quickly remedied.

Akumal area was a great place to beautiful there. We did deal with some seaweed on the beach in front of our condo, but able to walk down the beach for a clearer spot. The place was clean, only dealt with some hot water issues on the first day and was fixed by the end of the second day. There was also some mixed up communication for pick up from the airport. All in all great stay and would recommend.

A beautiful property fully equipped with everything you might need. Built in filtered water in the kitchen for cooking, great AC, smart TV, large fridge, gas stove, extra blankets and pillows Very spacious, comfortable and clean. Housekeeping and grounds keepers very competent and friendly. Washer and dryer were a plus.
Unit was a five minute walk to two restaurants - Lora Buena Vida (S) and La Lunita (N).
Would have been very helpful is there was some kind of orientation package in the unit with general information like when sheets and towels would be changed and where the safe and WIFI password were located. The unit did no t have a hair dryer and I mentioned it and one was provided the very next day.
The only con is that families or larger groups staying during the same time would take over the pool with screaming, shrieking out of control children. It made it very unpleasant for others sharing the space. It would be nice if there were more regulations with respect to horse play and unreasonable screaming. Floaties seemed to make the pool takeover worse. Unfortunately, this has more to do with rude guests and bad parents than the unit itself. I turned my music on to an equal volume and this seemed alert some adults that the noise was a bit too much. (Don't get me wrong - I accept kids will play and make noise but this was prolonged and unreasonable).
