Description

Nahil 7 is a stunning three bedroom three bathroom penthouse located on the fourth floor of Nahil Condominiums. Nahil is one of Akumal’s newest buildings; nestled on the quiet edge of Half Moon Bay’s pristine beach while still being only a short walk from many of the local restaurants and boutiques.

This location is excellent for vistas and convenience. Not only is Nahil 7 very well located, it is phenomenal from the inside as well. Contemporary and modern, this unit tastefully brings the beauty of the Caribbean inside through textiles, art, three terraces, and massive floor to ceiling windows that expand across the home.

The master bedroom has been furnished with a king-sized bed and individual trundle bed, a large private ensuite, and a spectacular view of the water. The second master has been fitted with a king-sized bed, individual bunk bed, individual trundle bed and private ensuite bathroom. This room includes a private balcony that overlooks a portion of the Yucatan’s jungle, making it a perfect place to have an evening cocktail while watching one of Akumal’s magnificent sunsets. The third bedroom is bright and airy, fitted with a king bed, an individual bunk, a single trundle bed, another private bathroom, and a jungle side terrace.

The kitchen is beautiful with its unique jungle wood cabinetry. It is highly functional,equipped with new stainless steel appliances including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and blender. Off of the kitchen, the dining area will comfortably seat six people. The living area features a chic and comfortable white couch, a 55” Smart TV, and access to the unit's third terrace. The third terrace features an additional six person seating area, as well as two designer lounge chairs for enjoying the sunshine.

Nahil 7 has truly gone above and beyond in the amenities it offers. In addition to the wonderful place to call home, Nahil 7 offers 2 bikes and a kayak for guests to use, a centralized cooling system with four thermostats, and privacy blinds available in every room. The building is only a short walk from some of our local restaurants like La Lunita or La Buena Vida and boutiques filled with treasures made by local artisans.

Staying in Nahil #7 was a wonderful vacation experience! The condo is spacious, clean, updated and has amazing views. We stayed with our two adult children and it was great that we all had our own room, bathroom and terrace! It was a bonus to have the apartment cleaned daily, unlimited bottled water and snorkel equipment. You can snorkel right in front of the condo and the ref is beautiful, we even saw a turtle. Great restaurants within walking distance and the Akumal dive shop has terrific excursions; we went on the sunset cruise and swam with the turtles. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with Nahil #7 and hope to visit again!

The views were absolutely amazing, we felt engulfed in that’s gorgeous place. It is so relaxing to be in this quiet area, so many adventures to do all around it. The condo actually looks better in real life than in the pictures, the rooms are very spacious. One glitch we encountered was immediately handled, the management is wonderful.

We have been coming to Akumal Playa with our family for 27 years to celebrate Thanksgiving. This is our third year at Nahil #7 which is a good condo on the third floor. The condo needed some repairs - AC leaking in bathroom and living room, dishwasher didn't work, needs more pots & pans, and elevator didn't work for 70% of time.

I took my adult daughters to Akumal for a girls trip. The Nahil condo location is great. We stayed in the three bedroom #7. It was very nice. The swimming pool and beach area are wonderful. The staff work very hard to maintain it and it shows. It is not close to the main area of Akumal but there are a few restaurants and a small store within walking distance. I definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get into town. Although the golf cart was not in great shape, it served its purpose. This will be the place we stay with every trip to Akumal.

This is a great spot to enjoy snorkeling away from the crowds. We were looking for an unhurried location and this fit the bill. The grounds are nicely maintained and people were friendly. Condo size was great for a family of five. Hot water was suspect for showers. Sometimes there, sometime not. Dishwasher broken as noted in others reviews. Perhaps just remove ;) good location to soak in the sun if you don’t want to pay resort prices.

Overall our family had a great stay at Nahil condo # 7. When we first arrived, I felt like the condo needed some updating and small things like the lamps being a bit flimsy or not working or scuffs on the wall were a bit annoying. But the place was very clean and spacious.
By day two, none of those small details bothered us at all. The location of the condo was perfect for us. It was so nice to look right out onto the beach and ocean while sitting by the pool. It felt very private and was quiet (even for spring break!)
The breeze from the ocean really cooled us down each day and no sargassum in front of this condo.
We were able to walk to 1-2 yummy restaurants and to a cenote. We would either bike into town or drove our car (seemed a bit far to walk- but can be done).
We were able to experience some amazing snorkeling (even saw a turtle) right from the beach out front of the condo.
The staff was very friendly, we had cleaning service every day and we felt safe at all times.
I would recommend this place for sure!

Love the location and the staff was amazing. Kitchen and bedrooms are all very well equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place does need to be refresh a little; the dishwasher was not working and has not been working for months, the closet for the washer/dryer (directly in front of you when you come in) has no door and is an eyesore. The various pieces of arts on the walls is old, weathered and damaged.

Second time renting this condo. 3 bd, 3 bath is nice. The unit needs some work. Hot water is iffy. You have to take a very fast shower. The dishwasher needs to be cleaned in order to clean the dishes, but since the hot water is short, the dishes don't get cleaned.

Lovely 3 bedroom unit with 3 bathrooms. Views are spectacular, the best part. Beds are comfortable, really nice daily maid service, huge white vinyl couch, small bathrooms, nicely outfitted kitchen. Whole unit needs a repaint. Very scuffed walls. Master bathroom ceiling in rough shape. Has had leaks and needs to be completely replaced. We used the two bicycles which are really helpful to get into the village. They are in tough shape as well. Tires flat and we found some maintenance staff to help us inflate tires. Would be helpful if there was info in the room as to which bicycles belong to the unit. Pool area is lovely. Tiny partial sandy area on the beach in front to enter water (very rocky) to access snorkeling.

We had such a great stay at Nahil #7. The view is incredible. The condo is amazing and has everything you could need. Life jackets for the kiddos, pack n play was available and set up for us when we arrived, carbon monoxide detector is in the unit for those anxious people like myself. The condos kitchen is equipped with everything you would need for cooking your own meal however the local restaurants are delicious.
We had one small issue with the water heater not supplying enough hot water for even a quick shower. I alerted the office and within 2 hours, someone was there and fixed it all while being very respectful and quiet since our little kids were napping at the time. Parking is available right out front, elevator on site. Daily housekeeping is available. Don't miss this place! I would definitely recommend Nahil #7.

Amazing Beach Front Home for Quiet Family Vacation

North Akumal neighborhood is so adorable. Great walkable location to Yal Ku cenote for snorkeling. Plus if you have or rent gear (some kid stuff available in the unit) you can snorkel right in front of the property. The entrance to the water is very "rocky" (it's coral so it will hurt your feet without water shoes) but it's a great place to swim and be on the water if you can get past that. Unit 7 was amazing, top floor with incredible views of the ocean. The photos don't even do it the justice it deserves honestly. My kids loved the place. Daily maid service was great. AC was cool, kitchen was nice. We stopped in Playa Del Carmen for groceries on the way down from cancun as Akumal is a very small town with limited groceries available. Plenty of places to eat out in walking distance that are amazing though if cooking isn't your thing! Great bar on the beach - La Buena Vida, with great food and drinks. Great breakfast/lunch spot right across the drive (toward yal ku). And if you're willing to walk a bit farther there is an amazing fish spot across from the dive center with the BEST wait staff. (also great ice cream spot thats open relatively late, 9p ish i think, and souvenir shops and an italian place over there which we didn't try but was always busy). The beach near the dive shop isn't the best for a traditional beach day. If you're looking for that (soft sand and chairs and swimming in waves) i'd recommend driving down to tulum for a day to find a beach club to crash. the beach in front of the apartment is also an amazing spot to sit and listen to the waves and read. super quiet and beautiful, comfy chairs. gorgeous pool that the staff maintained every day to cool off if you don't love the coral floor. If you have animal lovers with you the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary tour is a MUST. Amazing staff and best animals and great education about conservation and rescue in the area. My kids are still talking about the (non-exploitive) monkey snuggling!

Wonderful stay in this comfortable condo. The condo is in a great location in a good snorkeling spot. There was no sea grass in our area as in others. Very quiet and relaxing. We were a group of 4 with two adult girls. It was nice for everyone to have a private room and bath. The patio was wonderful and out of the direct sun so you could enjoy the beautiful view and the breeze without frying in the sun. If you are looking for sun, there are lounges and tables around the pool. Staff was great and although we had very few issues, what we did have was immediately addressed. Air worked great but I thought it was wonderful to fall asleep with the doors open and listening to the waves lapping at the beach. A few things that are good to know, a large water jug is kept filled for you, shampoo and conditioner provided, there are hair dryers and curling irons (not that you need those in Mexico), and there were basic spices in the kitchen. Another is that the condo is up three flights of stairs and for the 8 days we stayed the elevator was not in service. That is not a huge issue for mobile people but it would be a long climb if you were not relatively fit. Overall, we absolutely recommend this condo.

We enjoyed a wonderful 5 nights at Nahil 7, overlooking a slice of heaven on Half Moon Bay. The condo has incredible views and is well situated to accommodate 6 guests. Staff at the building is warm and kind; maid service arrived daily. We would highly recommend a visit to this quant and charming town along the cost—particularly if you are looking to get away from the bustle of Cancun and places like that. Two wonderful (and very reasonably priced) restaurants within walking distance.As with all rental properties and particularly in a warm and humid climate, visitors and time begin to take their punishment. The unit is showing signs of wear. Sofa was torn in one place; pots and pans nearing their end-of-life, one of the main pieces or art work delaminating/cracking under an AC vent; silverware starting to disappear; and the gas stove only ignited with a candle lighter. Some TLC is needed. Lastly, hot water took several minutes to arrive at any given water outlet, and we could only operate one shower at a time. I suspect this is due to the instant hot water tank which takes time to start working—although, our general sense is that the unit is undersized. The elevator works, but does not tell you which floor you are on while it is moving up or down. We only used it for moving our luggage and groceries up and down.

Beautiful location. Condo was well stocked. I would definitely shop in Playa before getting to Akumal as the little stores in the area have very little of what you would need if you plan to cook and eat at the condo. Plus they are a bit pricey.We went fishing thought the Akumal Dive Shop. They were great.We also rented a golf cart because it would be a long walk to town.Next time I might rent a car so you can see other sights. Otherwise, not much to do but relax in Akumal.We would definitely stay here again and we strongly recommend Nahil 7.

Place was clean and modern. The views of the front and back decks were wonderful. The property manager and the on-site managers were great and very responsive with any issues we had.
