Description

LA BAHIA #2 is one of two beach level units at La Bahia. These units are highly preferred by guests because of their easy access to the beach. Just step off your oceanside patio and dig your toes in the sand! These units rent quickly because they are great for families with young children or older knees.

LA BAHIA CONDOS are a long time Akumal favorite. These two-bedroom condominiums are of great value with an outstanding beachfront location. La Bahia is located right in the center of Half Moon Bay, an area well known for its quiet beach and great snorkeling. From La Bahia, you are with an easy walk to Akumal Bay, restaurants, Akumal’s markets, and dive shops.

The building is professionally managed. The staff is excellent and attentive, just one of the reasons we are happy to have La Bahia on our list for the best value. Your rental includes daily maid service and access to our full concierge team.

This condo has a spacious open floor plan, comfortable seating, and AC throughout. The unit includes a dining area, breakfast bar, and modern well equipped kitchen for quiet dinners on your terrace and coffee in the morning.

Two bedrooms, each with Serta mattresses and ensuite bath, offer privacy, comfort, and rest after your day’s adventure. The principal bedroom is furnished with a king bed. The guest bedroom is furnished with a king bed which can be converted into a two twins.

On arrival at labahia- we were greeted with 2 small flights of stairs- this was AFTER i had let the company know we needed ground floor because of mobility issues- the shower in the master bath barely had enough stream to get wet! And the sewer system does not allow for you to flush toilet paper

We have stayed in many of the properties on Half Moon Bay frequently. This was our latest trip in the year and it was hotter. Sargassum is also a huge problem. It seems like the condos are getting less well-equipped than they used to be - we cook a lot of our own meals and had to improvise quite a bit. AC also was pretty limited. We still had a good time and love Akumal.

amazing view to wake up and go to sleep by. The people who help out there are so accessible, pleasant and always available. Loved having a kitchen and walking a block down to Buena Vida for lunch or dinner. We also loved the beach at Akumal bay and enjoyed making that a daily stroll. We will be back!

This unit was ground level with an incredible view. There was construction next door and the first two days we were awoken by the sound of hack hammers. Management spoke to the contractor so the 3rd day there was silence in the morning The cleaning staff and grounds keepers were extremely friendly and did a great job.

It was one of our best vacation stays. Excellent location. This section of half moon bay was perfect. Really liked the daily cleaning service as the condo would get sandy everyday. It was great that the condo provided drinking water. Will surely come back again.

The pictures do not do this place justice. You can watch the sunrise every morning while laying in bed. You are so close to the ocean the sounds of the waves crashing sooth you to sleep. The staff, the amenities, just everything was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend.

Very enjoyable stay at this unit which was as advertised on their site. The patio opens up directly onto the beach, and despite many nearby condos there it was fairly private. Would recommend this unit to others
