Situated on a tranquil beach, this stunning 5 bedroom property sits on the south end of Greater Akumal Bay.  A perfect zen oasis, Casa Encantada features tropical gardens, expansive outdoor living areas, and an infinity edge swimming pool that overlooks the Mexican Caribbean. 

This walled estate is the ultimate in luxury and seclusion where guests can choose from a number of outdoor shaded sitting and living areas. A large outdoor dining area is ideal for dining al fresco while taking in the breeze. A true getaway.

The Perfect Rental for Couples and Groups

Casa Encantada is the ideal set up for those looking for upscale, modern living with room to spread out.  This unique villa welcomes you with posh decor including a chic living room with amazing artwork that overlooks the swimming pool and beach.  The living room is one of three well appointed indoor living areas.

Next to the living room is a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table where you can sit and enjoy home style breakfasts together while sipping on freshly brewed coffee. Chef services are available for an extra cost so have the full experience of being pampered while enjoying local foods and dishes.

Five Bedroom Suites each with King Bed

There are a total of 5 bedrooms at Casa Encantada spread out over 4 levels, each with their own ensuite bathroom. On the main floor, there is a guest bedroom with king bed. This room has a small terrace that leads out to the side yard and beach. The basement suite is a large living space with media room, separate bedroom, and play room. It also has two entrances, one from the exterior and one internal staircase.

The 2nd floor offers two additional large bedrooms that are accessed via the large spiral staircase that flows throughout the different floors. One is a master bedroom with oceanfront terrace and large bathroom with direct views to the outside. The guest suite also has its own terrace with a partial ocean view. These two bedrooms are connected via the 2nd floor sitting room.

The 3rd floor has been converted into another large master suite with the most incredible ocean views. It features another large ensuite bathroom with dual sinks and vistas of the Caribbean. This is a jetted Jacuzzi tub on the terrace.  From the 3rd floor master, you can also use a garden balcony with stairs to a large rooftop terrace. Here there are two beds for stair gazing.

The Outdoor Spaces are Pure Heaven

With such gorgeous weather year round, the exterior of Casa Encantada is designed to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy the outdoors. The private infinity edge pool has direct views of the Caribbean, along with several lounge chairs, beach chairs, sun beds. The villa has direct access to the sea where you can snorkel or cruise the bay in a kayak. The large outdoor dining area is the ideal place to gather after using the built in BBQ or wood oven to create memorable meals. You can also sit down with a book in the large, well appointed outdoor living room.

Casa Encantada is also conveniently located on the north end of Jade Bay so you can stroll the beach to Akumal Bay and the main area of town.

Three couples, two singles, spent a week at Casa Encantada and all agreed it couldn't have been improved upon. Perfectly clean. Excellent caretakers (Andres and Laura were efficient and delightful). Kitchen well supplied (and we were a group of cooks; knives must have been replaced since last negative review; we had no complaints). Loved that there were many seating areas and people could find places to be alone or in small groups. Pool was simply delightful. The young people tried to swim off the beach, but it was too rocky. And we didn't see anywhere we felt comfortable launching the kayaks. But everything else was so delightful we didn't miss it. Hired Chef Daveed to prepare a birthday dinner and would highly recommend him as well. And, when there was a bit of a problem beyond the control of the owners, the property manager responded promptly and efficiently. Do not hesitate. You will love this place.

This property exceeded everyone in my party's expectations. Initially, we wanted to stay in Tulum but "settled" to stay in Akumal. That all ended quickly once we reached our destination. We all agreed Akumal was more ideal of what we wanted. As for the property itself, it was absolutely breathtaking. Words cannot describe its sheer beauty. Everything was amazing from the roof of the property to the garage. We are all planning and looking forward to our next stay here. The staff, chef, and local grey iguanas that joined us for breakfast each morning were also excellent. Not enough stars for me to rate this property.

Amazing place, amazing location, truly magical. Pictures dont do this place justice, it is truly stunning. The quiet and tranquility of the location along with the amount of space you have is amazing. House is in impeccable condition, the staff are super and helpful. Love that you can walk down the beach and mix with the resorts, grab food a drinks at a couple places or hop in the car and be in Playa del Carmen or Tulum in 30 minutes, Akumal as well is a charming little area. 5 full suites with private baths were appreciated, air conditioning and bottled water dispenser so no worries on water. Sonos wireless speakers in and out, we had a bluetooth speaker we bought there and left behind as well. overall a place I would and will return to again soon.

This was our second stay at Casa Encantada, and we’ll keep coming back. The home and its location are so much more than what pictures can reveal, and the views are breathtaking. Park the car and walk in the sand- Casa Encatada is perfectly located on the beach, within minutes of restaurants and shopping in either direction. Highly recommend!

There were 5 couples celebrating my 40th! We enjoyed our stay so much!! Grounds were absolutely gorgeous, we spent most of our week just hanging out by the pool, laying out, eating under palapa, happy hour on the rooftop. House provided a housekeeper and a groundskeeper. They were the most hard working people. This was one of the best vacations I had, everyone loved the house and the grounds!! Would love to come back again!!

This home is spectacular! The photos don't do it justice. The back of the home is your own private beach-like paradise with an ocean view that can't be beat. The inside of the house is gorgeous as well. The property was very clean, very well maintained with daily work done inside and out by Laura and Andres, who were both great. We would recommend this to anyone, but particularly to families or groups that are all adults. All the beds are king sized, and each bedroom has a floor to itself, with one exception.

We originally booked for Easter week but had to postpone due to the pandemic. Reservations promptly responded to offer date change, which suited us fine, and we re-booked for late July. We arrived on a Sunday so we used the key-box to get the key and let ourselves in, we were delighted to find the house in impeccable condition with the outdoor spaces especially better than the pictures. We were two families with a total of 9 and it was perfect, plenty of space for everyone, great beds, closets, bathrooms for each room, super views from 3 rooms and the others very acceptable. The kids were happy to find the downstairs TV room in addition to the spacious areas on the main level. The master bedroom with a wonderful outdoor jacuzzi on the large balcony was amazing. best of all are the outdoor spaces which are expansive with a very functional dining table under a nice palapa, a really nice pool looking onto the ocean and a wide garden which provides a great ambiance. The direct access to the beach is great, the beach itself is limited right in front of the house with allot of coral which makes it a little difficult to get in and out, a short walk toward Akumal Bay and the beach expand and the water is great.
The highlight of our stay was the service, we booked with added chef service for breakfast and dinner, in a word it was "outstanding", the quality was excellent and really great value. It made our stay all the more comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable.
In addition, the daily cleaning and maintenance service provided by the staff was outstanding.
We did not move around much as the house is so great on its own, although we had rental car. We did drive to Tulum where visited a cenote and had lunch on the beach, we also rented a yacht out of Puerto Aventura which was nice.
Overall, it was an amazing experience, great property, great location, and above all incredible service and attention. Well worth every penny.
