Complete with Ocean Views, Studio 001 is the ideal spot for those looking for an afforable beach vacation.  Situated on the sugar white sand beach of Aventuras Akumal Bay, this well appointed suite offers direct access to snorkeling and swimming. 

Studio 001 has AC, 1 king sized bed, ocean view sofa, a well-equipped granite countered kitchenette with breakfast bar and flat screen satellite TV, Wi-Fi , and an ensuite bathroom with shower and dressing room. Studio 001 also has sliding doors leading out to its own private beachfront patio for dining alfresco.

Guests staying at Studio 001 have access to the large beachfront pool, shade palapas and sun loungers a few steps away from the unit. Full Beach Club Access to the all facilities is NOT included.

A short drive from this Aventuras Akumal suite, you will find the beach town of Akumal, complete with gift shops, stores, and restaurants.  You will also be close to the world famous Riviera Golf Course!

Spent two weeks here on a great vacation!����️Every thing was clean, safe and up to date. Housekeeper/Rita was very efficient. Being able to walk right onto the beach ��️ from our room was very nice. The snorkeling �� was good, saw lots of fish �� and stingrays too.
Wish there were more places to eat nearby. All in all, wonderful ����️

We had such a great time at this condo - we can’t wait to come back. The location can’t be beat and so many great amenities are provided. The bed was comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, the shower was great, and we really appreciated the beach chairs, floaties, and boogie boards. Checking in and out was very easy and we had great communication the whole time. The staff is super helpful and friendly and we felt safe and secure the whole time. There are a couple of nice bars and restaurants on the beach that you can walk to and the snorkeling was amazing just right out our door. We’d highly recommend this spot.

Location is perfect, literally 50 feet from the sea. The condo was very quiet at the time we were there and we had the pool to ourselves as well as the beach. King bed was extremely comfo. The items like the extra cushions for the beach chairs and the traveller’s umbrella and chairs were a big plus. Rita the housekeeper was very friendly. We loved our vacation there! Thank you!

The condo was great. A couple pros/cons: good number of kitchen appliences, but not a grain of salt or drop of oil for use. Clean well maintained bathroom, but only a cake of soap available- Luckily we didn't forget any toiletries. There were many high quality details about this condo and the interior, but the exterior of this building was a bit of an eyesore.

Everything was good from booking to payment to check in to location.
Rita (cleaning lady) fabulous and the 2 Luis's (groundskeepers) also fabulous. The snorkelling right out from was great so that was an added bonus. When we needed something extra (like dish towel) our request was immediately taken care of.

The location was magical, literally steps from the ocean . The sound of the waves and the gorgeous view kept a constant sense of joy and wonder at this perfect property. This studio is on the end of the bldg, providing more privacy while on the patio. Some of the condos are privately owned and that might explain the eyesore and deterioration of the adjoining balcony was falling apart. Still, a much better job could have been done cleaning up the side of the patio here: trash and rotting wood strewn about. The check in was hampered by the security guard turning my driver and I away. Paid guests should be expected! What a hassle. Utter darkness at the doorway, trying to use phone flashlight to get key. Minor distractions these. The studio was perfect and well appointed, cleaned daily, tons of great towels. An enthusiastic 2 thumbs up and highest recommendation. I’m frantically trying to get one of the private owners to rent to me 12/18-12/29!!

Beautiful “budget” studio unit that provided comfort, cleanliness, access to the Caribbean Sea (50’ away!), that has a gorgeous view of the Sea!
Relaxing space, modern appliances which allow for a cozy place to stay.
(A few of negatives) a crew were working on the roof on the 3rd floor directly above the patio area when we arrived. Not a safe setup also, made a big mess on the patio area which we had to clean) secondly, most of the TV channels are is Spanish. Made for limited TV options in the evening. Finally, no one contacted us within 24 hours if there were any up issues etc. as promised.

(200.00 usd for 2) it is what it is! Convenient and will help us return home.Affordable place to book with a million dollar view. Loco Gringo is great to deal with! We wouldn’t hesitate to book again with them!Mucho Gracias, Allan and Karen.

We had a lot of fun here. The location is fantastic! Woke up to ocean views and breezes every morning. Rita, the Housekeeper, was a jewel, we wanted to bring her with us when we left. The management staff was very responsive to the number of issues we had, I just wish there were not so many. This did NOT ruin our vacation, and a lot of the issues were beyond anyone's control. We would stay here again, and if you don't mind that everything is not 100% perfect, then you should consider this studio.

Studio is tucked away in a private area of a larger condo complex - it seems some of the units are privately owned like this one and some belong to the Oasis AI next door. The pool unfortunately was full of AI guests and their children and was typically warm so we didn’t use it. We were always able to grab the palapa closest to the end of the property near the studio and away from the AI section which afforded a bit more privacy. The reef is incredible and there is a sandy entrance to the water. We did not get a car - it was easy enough to get a taxi at the AI or walk about a half mile to the collectivo. We stopped on the way in to grab groceries and the studio is well set up to do all kinds of meal prep. You can walk to the Beached Bikini Bar or the restaurant on top of Villas de Rosa or take a taxi into Akumal for meals out. The cleaning and maintenance people are friendly and fantastic - responding to any ? or needs. The AC is excellent at keeping the entire studio cool. The rain shower in the bathroom was refreshing. The patio is shaded a good portion of the day and is a good option for outdoor dining.

This location does not disappoint in the slightest.
As far as we could tell, this unit within the complex may have had the most private patio available.
Being able to open the doors and step out into soft white sand under swaying palm trees and dip your toes in the ocean within 50 feet of your door is pretty incredible. We were there in the off-season during COVID, so we never had problems finding a lounge chair to use.
The snorkeling is good right out from your door. Fish, coral, rays, but unfortunately no turtles (at least not this time of year.) However, we did find evidence of turtle nests and hatched eggs 5 feet from the patio door! Very cool!
Parking is behind a manned gate and feels very safe.
There is a great beach bar and grill a one minute walk down the beach. We found ourselves shooting the breeze with the amazing staff on more than a couple occasions.
If you aren't a person who can't look past a few issues and need total luxury, this is not the place for you. For instance, the toilet seat was not bolted down and slid all over. The faucet in the bathroom is not secured to the countertop and shifts when you use it, sometimes spraying you. There are some major cracks on a supporting wall. Wouldn't want to be there in an earthquake. It has some ant issues, but hey, it's the tropics. The pillows were either hard and flat or very lumpy. We had internet issues that were remedied very quickly once we notified the property manager.
Bottom line, the most important things to us anywhere we stay are: cleanliness (GREAT!), safe (GREAT!), parking (GREAT!), location (BEYOND GREAT!), a kitchen with enough amenities to be able to cook a simple breakfast (ADEQUATE).
We would stay here again based on that view alone!

There are some major cracks on a supporting wall. Wouldn't want to be there in an earthquake. It has some ant issues, but hey, it's the tropics. The pillows were either hard and flat or very lumpy. We had internet issues that were remedied very quickly once we notified the property manager.<br/>Bottom line, the most important things to us anywhere we stay are: cleanliness (GREAT!), safe (GREAT!), parking (GREAT!), location (BEYOND GREAT!), a kitchen with enough amenities to be able to cook a simple breakfast (ADEQUATE). <br/>We would stay here again based on that view alone!<br/>

We really enjoyed our stay in 001 Cute and Romantic studio. It was updated and had everything we needed. The beach was wonderful but we could have used an extra palapa or maybe a patio umbrella for some shade as most were reserved by those who winter there or/and own the condos. I understand they would get priority. We would definitely return and perhaps rent a car for a longer trip.
