If you are dreaming of a peaceful vacation with your family and closest friends than you will probably fall in love with Villa Tres Delfines. It is a little tropical oasis, set amongst beautiful gardens, unspoiled white sandy beaches and the calm, crystal-clear waters of Soliman Bay.
The second you step inside this charming 4-bedroom villa you will instantly feel at home. An inviting living and dining area with lots of windows and sliding doors will tempt you to put your suitcases down and throw yourself into one of the cozy hammocks, hanging outside, under the palapa-covered terrace.
Indeed, this is the perfect place to savor magnificent views of the Soliman Bay, relax after a morning swim or enjoy freshly-made guacamole, prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen just off the living room.
In fact, you can access the three main-level bedrooms right from the beach patio. Two of the Villa Tres Delfines’ bedrooms are furnished with a queen-size bed and one features 2 twin beds (this bedroom shares a bathroom with one of the queen-size bedrooms and is perfect for children or teenagers).
The Master Suite, located on the second level is the jewel of the villa! Designed with a king-size bed, en-suite bath and expansive windows facing in three different directions, it pampers its guests with stunning views of the wide sandy beach of Soliman Bay. The sliding doors lead from the Master Suite onto the large open-air terrace, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or spending some alone time without kids.
Another stairway goes up to the peak observatory deck showcasing bird’s-eye views of the golden Caribbean coastline.
Nestled among the manicured tropical garden and protected from the sea winds, is a beautiful private pool area. The focal point of this space is the high stone wall waterfall with water gently streaming down the rocks to the pool below.
The pool itself boasts two separate areas: A shallow area for the kids and a deep end for adults. Just imagine lounging in the sun, enjoying an icy-cold cerveza and tossing a few shrimp onto the BBQ.
And when you feel like spicing things up and exploring this part of Riviera Maya, just take a 10 minute drive south to Pueblo of Tulum, or a 15 minute drive north to the town of Akumal. Both have shopping, restaurants, beaches and many tourist services. The ruins of Tulum are a must see and Playa del Carmen (about a 30 minute drive north) is well worth a visit.
The bottom line is: if you decide to pick Villa Tres Delfines for your next vacation, you’ll know that you’ve made the right choice. You will never consider staying in an overcrowded and impersonal beach hotel again!

We stayed 2 weeks here Aug 2009. Me, my wife, and 4 children and had a great time. We enjoyed the location and the privateness of the house. it has a great floorplan that allows "hang out" space together on the first floor. it also has most of the bedroom down there as well, but they are tucked away which is nice also. the master suite is upstairs - which was great as it allowed my wife and i private time anytime we wanted . it's hot in mexico in august - but that is what we wanted - so it was great. the best use for us was to run the indidiual room air conditioners during the night and keep the doors closed. it got plenty cold. we opened the whole house up during the day and didn't run AC at all. it was warm; but very breezy; being right on the water.you can walk out the back yard literlly into the water- and the snorkeling was perfect. the beach itself is not the white sandy stuff cancun has - so make sure to bring swimming shoes or such. you can kayak out further to some sand bars and great snorkelling though.the front pool was amazing; we hung out there a low - with the water falls and tropical "guests" (iguana's, etc..) . my kids loved it.it's a more rural vacation. not the loud big resort. access to the local pyramids and cenotes are amazing - it was a great home base for adventure excursions. we travelled everywhere - tulum; chichen; cenote; everything.

The location is amazing and the cost is very reasonable for the size of the house. The staff was wonderful and very helpful!! The only downside for us was that it was not very child-friendly for young children and/or babies...lots of concrete steps and no baby gates or high chair. Would definitely return though when our kids are a bit older!

The location was really great for the week we spent with another family in August last year. We found it convenient to drive into nearby Tuluum, gorcery shopping in Tuluum was easy and reasonable, stunning beaches and snorkling nearby, wonderful people and very friendly housekeepers. We enjoyed the house, the bedrooms were comfortable. The beach is in a bay area and clean despite the seaweed that is sometimes a bother. My wife and kids loved it too and we would go again in a heart-beat.

Kind of hard to get to but worth it. Having places to eat where you don't have to have a car is a plus. We enjoyed it tremendously

We just returned home last night after spending seven spectacular days at Tres Delfines and had a wonderful experience there! It was myself, my wife and our two sons who are 8 and 6. This was the PERFECT location for our young family! There is plenty of room in the house, the upstairs master suite is great, and a beach in the backyard topped off with excellent snorkeling for the entire family, including the two boys, was great!
I like staying somewhere with decent waves crashing in to play with but that would be overboard for my two new swimmers. Solimon Bay, which this home is located on, is protected by a reef so the water was nice and calm for the boys. Right out from the house while snorkeling, we spotted numerous fish and a few rays! Two kayaks located at the house allowed us to paddle out into the middle of the bay to a buoy for even more snorkeling!
When finished in the water for a bit, ample and comfortable chairs and hammocks were abound on the property! At low tide/sunset, we'd walk the beach and find even more sealife, including a few Harlequin Starfish on the northern point of the bay!
What really pushes Tres Delfines over the top are the two totally awesome caretakers, Christobal and Olivia! Together they take wonderful care of the grounds and the inside of the house, cleaning daily, doing dishes, fixing beds, AWESOME! Every morning we were greeted by Olivia's warm smile and a "Buenas dias, como estas?!" My wife, who speaks Spanish decently, had numerous conversations with Olivia and cried when we departed. They were a wonderful blessing during our stay! For cheaper than what you can eat in Tulum, Olivia will prepare fantastic meals for you as well! The best steak I've ever had in my life!
We rented a car for the week which took us to Tulum and Akumal for groceries, restaurants, shopping and trips to the Coba ruins and the Dos Ojos cenote. Both definite hits! The house is full of tourist/adventure books about the area and Arul, the owner, sent out a great list of things to do in the vicinity too.
The only downside, and it was so minor, is where you enter the water, it is pretty rocky. Have your flippers on or some water socks and you'd be fine. So again, this isn't the place to just go swim and jump around in waves, but it's awesome for snorkeling. I wish it was both but with our young boys, it couldn't have been better!
I'd easily recommend Tres Delfines to friends and we hope to visit again in the not to distant future!

We were two families who rented this Villa last August. It turned out to be a great family getaway.
The villa was conveniently located bang on the beach, the choice of pool and ocean being an added bonus. The rooms were comfortable and even though the weather was hot we were always cool in the house.
We spent a lot of time exploring Tulum and the ruins at Coba. The night spots at Playa del Carmen were also a close drive.
All in all, an excellent location.
Cannot wait to go again!

Bottom line, this property was simply amazing in and out. The caretakers do a fantastic job to make your stay feel just like home. The atmosphere, food, tranquility, snorkeling, close to all amenities makes this property first on our list to return.

My family couldn't believe the view when we pulled in the driveway. Manicured gardens and pathways. The house has everything you need, flat screen with satellite, internet for teenagers, the caretakers are amazing. The only disappointment we had was when it was time to leave. Planning to return again for sure.

We have stayed at Tres Delfines three times. We have 3 small children and it is a perfect getaway for us. The caretakes, Olivia and Christobel, are just so lovely and Olivia's cooking is superb. You can relax at the beach, or snorkel in the ocean or cenotes or visit ruins or go shopping! So much to do closeby. I can't recommend Tres Delfines enough!

Our stay was very comfortable and very enjoyable
The beach in front the pool in the back
What we did not like was the amount of stones on the beach. It is very unconfortable to get into the water. We shy away from the beach bacause of it. WE went in a few times in the kayak. Our suggestion is that all of the owners of the houses in Soliman Bay get together and clean the beach.

We loved our stay at Villa Tres Delfines. Great house and beach away from the crowds. Soliman Bay was fantastic. The caretakers are very nice and obviously happy to have you there. If I had one complaint it would be the rough road to the house from the highway but that was a very small inconvenience for such a wonderful vacation. The kids loved it there and so did we. Hope to go back one day soon.

My whole experience from finding the website to working with Katie, our reservation specialist, was easy and turned out to be great advice and suggestions. I travel a lot for work and was looking for a more relaxed trip, not into the Cancun tourist mobs and buses. Tres Delfines was a great property and the caretakers are amazing and attentive. I wanted to stay longer just to get to know them better! Soliman Bay is very peaceful but it's not a great swim from the shore spot as it's a little rocky and lots of sea grass on the shoreline. But we kayaked out in the bay for wonderful swimming and snorkeling. If you go, plan to drive so you can travel the area and take in the amazing sights. It's a little nerve racking at first but once you get the rules of the road (and the police check points that make your eyes go wide with all the machine guns) it's worth it. Great stay and we'll be looking for Loco Gringo

Best deal on Soliman Bay! Outside of some dated decor and appliances, Tres Delfines is a classic gem. When you add the excellent level of service Olivia and Cristoban coupled with the relatively low-cost structure, I would highly recommend this villa to all! We plan to return again.
