  • Secluded-Chic Sian Ka’an Villa south of Tulum beach

Villa Destiny is a rare find, no matter how you look at it. It combines unbeatable elegance and luxury with the newest alternate energy solutions and an exclusive and secluded location in Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve.

Sian Ka’an is a green barrier strip of land between the vast lagoon estuary (Laguna Campechen) and the Caribbean sea. Due to the very strict environmental laws only a handful of properties have been built within this territory. And none of them can compete with Villa Destiny when it comes to finesse and spectacular ocean views.

Crowning the high primary dune of Sian Ka’an, this beautiful beachfront villa opens up onto uninterrupted views of the Caribbean from every room of the house.

    Breath-taking accommodations with uninterrupted views

The owners have gone to great lengths to incorporate modern luxury with a soul-soothing beach house atmosphere. This is seen in the deluxe kitchen equipped with top-quality appliances, the elegant dining and living areas, the three expansive bedroom suites with luxurious marble bathrooms and the spacious, dark-wood ocean deck, offering unparalleled views of the Caribbean.

Designed to host 6 to 8 people, each of Villa Destiny’s bedrooms come with comfortable king-size beds, chic interiors, en-suite bathrooms and expansive sliding doors, leading to the ocean deck. Two of the bedrooms pamper their guests with large Jacuzzi tubs, and the Master bedroom even comes with a mini-gym area (for those who don’t want to interrupt their workout routine while on vacation).

If you prefer swimming or jogging on the beach to an indoor workout, you will find it very convenient having an outdoor shower at the top of the staircase leading from the beach.

There is another staircase leading from the ocean deck to a rooftop of Villa Destiny. Just go up the stairs and you will be amazed by the breathtaking 360°view of the sea and Sian Ka’an’s extensive mangrove estuary that opens up from here.

    Rooftop dinners, suntanning and star-gazing

The rooftop deck is equipped with everything you may need for a laid-back cookout party, including a gas grill, a dining table with chairs, two lounge chairs and an umbrella to protect you from the direct rays of the sun.

Other fun outdoor activities you may want to try when staying at Villa Destiny include kayaking on the lagoon or surfing and boogie boarding on the ocean side (as there is no outer reef to break the waves). In addition, the nearby CESiak Centro Ecologico Sian Ka’an offers a variety of excursions into the Sian Ka’an reserve.

For shopping, Mexican food specialties or convenience stores you can take a short drive north to Tulum. It’s well worth a visit!

THE BOTTOM LINE IS: If you are the type of person who appreciates the beauty of unspoilt nature, away from big resorts and crowds of tourists,  yet you don’t want to sacrifice the ‘comforts’ of a modern home than you will love staying at Villa Destiny.

Note: In the spirit of conservation we should mention here that the supply of freshwater for this house, and all properties in the Sian Kaan and on Tulum beach, depends on either rainwater collection or trucked-in potable water. While there is an ample supply of fresh water in Villa Destiny that is refilled regularly, the guests are kindly asked to be judicious in their use of water when taking showers and during their stay.
