There are many beachfront villas and beach houses in Riviera Maya that can be described as “beautiful”, “grand” or “luxurious”, but there are very few that can claim to be a “Private Resort”. Casa Yardena is one of them!
Just imagine 80 feet of private sandy beach in the Caribbean; a huge swimming pool that looks almost small in the middle of an extensive sun deck area that continues onto the soft golden beach of Soliman Bay and 4 separate guest houses in addition to the 5 very spacious bedrooms of the main villa that can accommodate anywhere from 10 to 26 people (see bedding info in amenities section below)!
Now add 3 personal maids, private security at night, complimentary chef services available 6 days a week and you will understand why Casa Yardena is the perfect vacation choice for large groups, family gatherings and special occasions such as Birthdays and anniversaries.
Saying that you and your guests will feel pampered while staying here would be putting it mildly.
This beautiful villa the color of a melon sorbet, hides many pleasures, from modern and luxurious bedroom suites to two separate and upscale dining room areas (one indoors, one outdoors) and both an indoor and an outdoor kitchen, (one equipped with a wet bar for entertaining and the other one featuring a BBQ grill).
However, it will probably be the living room that will steal your breath away and make your guests raise their heads in awe. With royal cathedral 30-foot ceiling, accented by a cast-iron chandelier, Mayan carved stone steles crowning the archways and sliding doors and intricate indoor balconies overlooking the living room, you will know exactly what it feels like to live in a modern-day castle.
Each of the 5 bedroom suites continue this “majestic-tropical” theme and feature en-suite marble bathrooms, satellite TV, a security safe and either king or queen-size beds. Bedrooms located on the upper level have been designed with a furnished ocean terrace that overlooks the magnificent Soliman Bay. While all of the main-floor bedrooms have direct access to the pool side patio and the private beach.
The Master Suite is the most luxurious of all. It boasts a comfortable king size bed and a posh marble bathroom with a spa-like Jacuzzi tub.
On top of this gorgeous beachfront villa you will find an observatory rooftop area. Besides showcasing the stunning view of the Soliman Bay, the Caribbean and the vast emerald jungle, it is equipped with daybeds, a couch and table and several hammocks placed under shade arbors.
As for a list of activities at Casa Yardena, Soliman Bay and Riviera Maya, there are plenty of options to consider.
Reef snorkeling and kayaking is great within Soliman Bay as the water here is very calm and blessed with a diversity of marine life. The towns of Akumal and Tulum are located just 15-20 minute drive away. You could also consider including trips to Mayan ruins, eco-parks, and shopping or dining out in Tulum pueblo or Playa del Carmen. However, many guests who come to Soliman Bay discover the pleasure of lounging by the pool with a tangy frozen Margarita with no agenda aside from connecting with their loved ones!
You can do the same!

I've just returned from an amazing week at Casa Yardena. First and foremost; props to the staff! They were incredible, especially Carlos the chef. I am a restauranteur and was very concerned that the food being local, fresh, and safe. It was fabulous- he even gave me recipes and when I left gave me a block of this fabulous Mayan spice rub Achiote with the kind words "from my kitchen to yours." The location and setting were gorgeous, and the house is very luxurious and welcoming. I especially loved the entrance to the home, which is very jungle like and has an amazing huge birdcage filled w/ lovebirds and canaries singing away. The only reason the house did not get a full five stars is b/c there were some maintenance issues; the kitchen is poorly stocked on plates/ glassware/ silverware so we often had to use plastic/ paper (which is bad for the environment AND not very luxurious). There were problems w/ the A/C in several rooms and a few of the safes did not work. Basically, this is just a home that's been used a great deal by lots of people over the last ten years or so, and it's starting to show. It's incredibly clean and well kept, but not brand new, exactly. There is a new property a few doors down called Hacienda Carocola (apparently the same owners/ designers) that is GORGEOUS and will be my next vacation place... but only if I can bring Carlos down to do the cooking!

Seeking a Family Vacation/Destination
Looking for Quiet & Relaxation
We are safely back in atlanta; however our daydreams are of snorkeling in Soliman Bay, a family lunch at Casa Yardena, and a Negra Modela! Our family had a wonderful vacation during our stay at Casa Yardena and appreciate everything you, Anna, and the staff did to make our stay so special. This was our 6th trip and we have watched our four grandsons grow from 2, 3,4, & 5 year olds playing on the beach into 8,9, 10, & 11 year olds who are graceful swimmers and snorkelers! The improvements you have made to the property are very nice and we particularly enjoyed the new built-in cushioned areas. We have always thought Casa Yardena to be a beautiful home and each year we have looked forward to being there. It was also nice to have the groceries stocked when we arrived. Thank you for suggesting this.
