We had a wonderful stay. The property is great! Everything you need is there, and if not, the staff will help you get whatever you need or desire. Management, maintenance and housekeeping staff are wonderful! Had the maintenance man (Jaime) and his wife cook for us two evenings. The food was wonderful! Had a company come in and do massages that were fantastic! Great vacation place!

We (three adult couples) had a wonderful week at Casa Chaca. The property is beautiful with its oceanside location, and was plenty spacious for our group of 3 adult couples. The kitchen was well appointed for our cooking needs, but when we felt like going out there were plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute drive. The main attraction, though, is the house's outdoor space, which is spectacular.

First trip to a "non- all inclusive", and it certainly will be our last. From the second we booked- David the concierge attended to all our needs.

The pictures do not do this location justice! The on site staff were amazing, and the view is incredible.

The beach did require water shoes, but 10 feet from the waters edge is an incredible reef that we explored daily.

Everything was wonderful. Only downfall was the entrance into the beach was not accessible for elders or anyone a disability. That would be our only drawback from staying again. If you are mobile/able, we 100% recommend this house!

Our rental was 6 nights. 8 people comfortably were accomodated. The casita was great as it is a separate house that our parents were able to stay in for additional privacy. Pool was perfect size for our 10 and 13 year old. Great snorkeling, nice kitchen and amenities. The only downside is there is not any restaurants in walking distance for older people. The younger people in our group walked to 2 beachside bar/casual dining but really you need to drive for a meal. The house was in a gated community and we felt very safe. We saw beach patrols regularly.

When we got home from our family vacation I asked everyone what their favorite part of the trip was. I expected to hear "Mayan ruins" or "parasailing" or "restaurants" ... but nope. Unanimously, it was: "the house!" What a wonderful stay ... away from the crowds, safe and comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff. So entertaining with amazing fish snorkeling and fun kayaking right out the front door, and the kids splashing in the pool. We loved having a kitchen to make our own breakfasts (leisurely, inexpensive), and we wish we had hired Jaime for more than one dinner (delicious, relaxed) at the house. The wifi made it easy to plan our days, the separate bathrooms made it easy for everyone to be comfortable, the hammocks and various tables/seating made it easy for everyone to find a spot to eat/read/chill. And waking up to the sunrise over the ocean was just ... inspiringly joyful. Casa Chaca was the best part of our trip. :) THANK YOU!!!

My husband and I have been to Akumal three times and stayed twice at Casa Chaca, and will always stay there each time we visit this magical place. The home is perfect, on the beach with gorgeous sunrise out your back door. We love kayaking in the sparkling bay and snorkling as well, walking to the local beach club, the Jungle Fish for drinks, appetizers and fresh caught fish for dinner. The staff is wonderful and helpful and the locals are so friendly. We love the quiet, yet extremely safe atmosphere this beautiful place has to offer and will be back as soon as we possibly can!

absolutely loved our stay at Casa Chaca! It was just as advertised and we couldn't have been more pleased. Quiet, safe, clean and beautiful. So much to do in the surrounding area (Tulum is about a 15 minute drive, as are the Tulum Ruins, many cenotes, etc). Will most definitely come back here again!
