  • Cool & creative cabanas and bungalows Tulum Beach

How do you have a celebrity-like vacation, without taking a private jet and escaping to some deserted tropical island? You go to Riviera Maya, you stay at Hemingway Eco-Resort, and you pamper yourself and your loved ones with an even better vacation than money can buy.

Nestled on the smooth, powder sands of Tulum beach, Hemingway’s eleven bungalows or ‘cabañas’ are among the best in Riviera Maya.

Small beach cottages with stunning views

Each cabana is a delightful mix of style and simplicity. Eclectic furniture, a high palapa roof, and tasteful Mexico-inspired accessories create a soothing and romantic atmosphere, which Hemingway himself would have appreciated.

The cabañas are essentially arranged in three tiers: Oceanfront (3 first-row bungalows facing Tulum beach), Sea view (3 bungalows in the next row with a great sea view), and Jungle view (6 beach bungalows facing the tropical garden). The differences are really minor, as all of the bungalows are built right on the snowy-white beach and located a few steps from the turquoise waters of the Caribbean.

In fact, the beach in front of the Hemingway cabañas projects farther out into the sea than it does for the adjacent properties (see aerial view link below). It also stretches for miles to the south, making those romantic beach walks even longer and sweeter.

To let you savor the beauty of Riviera Maya and Tulum Beach to the fullest, each cabaña features a front porch furnished with a couple of chairs and a hammock. It’s a great place to greet the sunset or relax with a good book.

Inside, the bungalows are designed with a spacious private bathroom and different bed configurations to accommodate groups of 2, 3, or 4 people (see details in the amenities section below). While being an eco-resort, Hemingway still generates enough alternative energy to provide electricity for lighting (6 p.m. – 11 p.m.) and low energy consumption electronics for each cabana.

Restaurant menu is sea to table or jungle to table focusing on fresh

Hemingway’s on-site beach restaurant serves a complimentary continental breakfast to its guests and is opened for lunch and dinner. The philosophy of the restaurant is simple – no pre-made menu, only the freshest products and seafood and only 5 tables to be able to pamper each guest with personalized attention and authentically home-cooked meals.

So what does your dream vacation look and feel like? How about ever-blue skies. The shimmering waters of the Caribbean disappearing into the horizon. A hammock softly swaying in the cooling sea breeze. A mix of salty sea air with a mouth-watering aroma of grilled fish and freshly-baked tortillas. Sounds good?

Then turn this dream into reality and Book your stay at Hemingway Eco-Resort! Remember, with just 11 cabañas and hundreds of people looking forward to spending their vacation in the tropical heaven of Riviera Maya, you have to act quickly!
