In recent years, substantial infrastructure upgrades have dramatically decreased the incidence of electrical outages in the Yucatan. That said, the tropical climate and proximity to the sea are always challenging for wiring and transmission cables. Electrical outages, while not common, can happen. When they do, they are often brief. We want you to know exactly what to expect should service be interrupted during your stay. We hope this will bring you peace of mind and decrease any disruption to your enjoyment.
A quick tip from the LG Team: Your vacation rental is equipped with flashlights, candles and lighters or matches. These come in very handy in the unlikely event of a power outage. Locate them upon arrival, check to make sure everything is in working order and place them somewhere you will remember and have easy access to. Need more batteries? Let your onsite staff and they will take care of it at once.
In the event of a power outage, please alert your onsite staff or the LG Concierge Team at once. Your arrival and check in instructions would have included an emergency contact number for your property management team. We recommend sending a quick text to this number just to let them know your power is out. They are probably already aware, but we encourage you to be sure. The onsite staff will alert the Federal Electrical Commission (CFE) at once. Once the CFE is notified your onsite staff will track alerts and estimated times to restoration. Please know, your onsite team will do everything in the power to facilitate a quick restoration of services.

Need a fast connection during your stay? We get it! Nearly all vacation rental properties now provide wireless internet connections. The connections are satisfactory, enough to the surf the web and stream Netflix. We do want to make you aware that salty sea air, tropical climate, concrete construction, and usage surges can slow internet service. In the event of service interruption please report to your onsite staff or LG Concierge Team as soon as possible. Your onsite staff will immediately report any service interruption to the service provider. The onsite staff is trained in basic maintenance, but we want to make you aware that despite our best efforts, internet service is often something well out of our control. Rest assured your onsite team, in conjunction with the service provider, will do everything in their power to restore service as quickly as possible. If you are needing to work we recommend looking for a public wi-fi access. Many public spaces often have redundant systems for just such occasions. Our concierge team can recommend back up wifi access locations based on your accommdations. We are here to help!
