Soliman Bay – Tulum
on the beach. Hidden from the rest of the world by palm trees and lush tropical greenery, Casa Yamulkan makes the most of its secluded location on Soliman Bay.
For those looking for the perfect balance between privacy, snorkeling in the turquoise waters of Caribbean and relaxing with a frozen margarita on the beach, Casa Yamulkan is a great find!
Hidden from the rest of the world by palm trees and lush tropical greenery, Casa Yamulkan makes the maximum out of its prime location on Soliman Bay. While the unique Mayan-inspired architecture of the house with its vaulted palapa roof, the natural materials used throughout and the open floor plan, gives Casa Yamulkan its unique character and rustic appeal.
In many cultures, the kitchen symbolizes warmth, nourishment, and family ties. Following this tradition, there is a place in Casa Yamulkan dedicated to a well-equipped, charming kitchen and a cozy dining room. Even if you are not big on cooking, you will appreciate the atmosphere of warmth and serenity that it creates in the house.
Just off the dining area, you will find a lovely living space, featuring local art, plenty of siting space and a satellite TV, so that you will not miss your favorite series and TV shows while on vacation.
The living room then opens up onto a spacious ocean side terrace, protected by a palapa-roof from the hot rays of the sun. This is a great spot to savor your morning cup of coffee or rest after a morning on the beach.
Casa Yamulkan offers its guests 6 spacious bedrooms, 5 and 1/2 bathrooms, a cozy loft with 2 twin beds and a double bed. Once inside the house, it is easy to believe that Casa Yamulkan can comfortably host up to 13 guests.
Both of the beach-level bedrooms feature a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The three upper-level bedrooms consist of one bedroom with a king bed, another with 2 single beds and a room with a king bed and a sofa and a beautiful view of the ocean. It also feels very private, as it features a separate exterior stairway, so if you are an early-riser you won’t have to worry about waking up the rest of the house.
It is important to mention that since the upper level is finished with a palapa roof, it can only have ceiling fans, but not air conditioning. The house always feels breezy, and the two ceiling fans allow you to sleep comfortably even during the hot summer nights.
The upper level of the house also hosts an observation deck – which is an excellent spot to enjoy margaritas and savor the view of the mesmerizing Soliman Bay.
To maximize the beautiful natural surroundings of the house and the white powder beach, there are plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks that Casa Yamulkan’s guests can take advantage of. For family outdoor cookouts, there is a gas grill that you can use absolutely for free. Just like the two kayaks provided for you for exploring Soliman Bay and admiring the beauty of the underwater world.
Soliman Bay is also a great location to explore the coast as many attractions are nearby, including Aktun Chen for cave snorkeling and a tour of their dry cave, and the Tulum ruins. The town of Tulum is great for shopping and has several good restaurants.
But since a picture is worth more than 1000 words, we invite you to embrace your Caribbean vacation at Casa Yamulkan and see for yourself! Inquire about this spectacular and fun vacation villa for your next getaway.
