Casa Orquidea or “The Orchid House” is a newly-built 3600 square foot beach villa that blooms on the white sands of Tankah Bay.
Few people know that the famous vanilla flavor actually comes from the vanilla orchid and this fact probably served as the main inspiration for the designers of Casa Orquidea.
From the warm, vanilla-colored exterior, to the exquisite furnishings, to the savory views of the sugary white sands of Tankah Bay – everything about this luxurious 5-bedroom villa will remind you that life is sweet, just like a scoop of vanilla bean ice-cream.
The moment when you find yourself inside the house, your eyes will immediately be drawn to the immense living space of Casa Orquidea. An entire two-story high wall of expansive bay windows becomes the focal point of the house, showcasing the luxurious pool patio and aquamarine waters of the Caribbean.
An opened floor plan of the villa, allows the living room, dining area and gourmet kitchen to benefit from the unparalleled views, natural light and refreshing ocean breezes during the day.
While at night, each of 3 Master Suites of Casa Orquidea offers a cozy retreat from the exciting day-time activities. Each of the bedrooms in the main house is designed with a king-size bed, a modern en-suite bathroom and private access to a pool patio [beach-level] or an oceanside terrace [upper-level].
Two rooftop observation decks crown the villa and invite you to take a look at the stunning Tankah Bay and Yucatan Jungle from a different perspective. Furnished with a comfortable day bed and built-in couch, the decks also provide a great and very romantic retreat for stargazing or sunset watching.
Just a few steps away from the beautiful ‘vanilla-dream’ villa, you will find a two-story Guest House Casita. The Casita Orquidea consists of two elegant one-bedroom apartments. Both main level and upper-level units, feature a fully-equipped kitchen, beautiful living and dining room spaces and a king-sized bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
Combined together the villa and the casita can accommodate up to 10 people with comfort and style. With so many fun and relaxing activities to choose from, absolutely everyone will feel pampered and satisfied!
From kayaking to snorkeling in the calm and crystal-clear waters of Tankah Bay. From frolicking with the kids in the pool to organizing a little cook-out party on the pool patio. From taking a short walk to a natural freshwater cenote to exploring the famous Mayan ruins in Tulum (just a 15-minute drive away). Casa Orquidea has it all and much more…

Spent Thanksgiving week here. The house was beautiful, clean and plenty of room for our group of 12. Great location for daytrips and both restaurants on the beach had wonderful food. Kayaking/snorkeling in the bay was amazing and the cenote is a must. Caretakers were wonderful - always available, but never hovering.
