Staying in the “house of dreams” or Casa de los Suenos is everything that you imagined a perfect tropical Caribbean vacation would be.
Hailed as a very special villa by Akumal travelers, Casa de los Suenos is built on private property at the mouth of the mystic Yal Ku lagoon. It is close to everything – great shopping, the airport and some of the best diving spots of the Riviera Maya.
Casa de los Suenos is a 3000 square foot villa with 3 bedrooms and 3 private bathrooms.
The open, airy feel of the ground floor, colorful Mexican fabrics and the stunning views of the ocean will instantly make you feel both relaxed and excited to be here.
A spacious living room is the perfect spot to savor the view of your private pool, tropical garden, cream-colored outdoor patio and, of course, the beautiful Yal Ku Lagoon. And if you feel that a freshly made fruit cocktail can make this experience even more dream-like, you will be happy to find out that Casa de los Suenos comes with a large fully-equipped kitchen and a lovely dining room area designed for 6 people.
The ground floor of Casa de los Suenos also boasts a charming master bedroom with a king size bed, built-in couch and a private bathroom which is furnished with an amazing sunken tub for luxurious bath time.
The other two bedrooms are located on the second floor. Each comes with a comfortable king-size bed, en-suite bathroom and a private balcony offering guests amazing views of the Akumal’s Yal Ku Lagoon. Situated in between the two bedrooms is an entertainment family room that is another cozy spot for everyone to hang out and watch a great movie.
Although, you don’t want to spend too much time in front of the TV and miss out on 2 very-Mexican things to do – claim your siesta time in a hammock by the beach or throw a festive cookout party by the pool. Relaxing Caribbean evenings simply call for romantic guitar music, a couple of frozen margaritas, warm, juicy fajitas and refreshing swims at sunset.
Another experience to embrace while staying at Casa del los Suenos is stargazing from the roof deck. Especially since with our busy schedule at home we rarely get a chance to look up at the stars.
Do yourself a favor and let Casa de los Suenos become the vacation House of YOUR Dreams!

Wonderful location for rest and relaxation. Weather was wonderful but this time of the year, the pool is too cold. Simon and Pasquela are jewels. They can help with almost anything even though they speak limited English. Pasquela's cooking is fabulous! There will be leftovers, she cooks family-style. Access to the lagoon is tricky, but worth the effort. The satelitte tv was mostly mexican channels. We don't get to watch much tv at home and like to "catch" up while on vacation. The internet had been turned off, but Pasquela called Rhett, who came to the rescue. Lots of places in Akumal to eat out if you wish. Tulum and Playa de Carmen are only a short drive away. Great vacation!

Thoughtfully equipped - everything we wanted or needed. Staff, great. Pool a little too cold to be useful. Even for the kids! Quiet, beautiful views, great hammock, good vacation house for a family of many different ages.

We had 3 couples and 2 little children. The pool was so much fun! It was hard for anyone, esp. kids to get to the lagoon behind the house....very sharp rocky waterfront. It would be wonderful if we had even 3 ft of walkway and sand to play in at the lagoon. Pascuala and Simon were wonderful caretakers of the house. Views from every room (and Bedroom) are awesome. Comfortable house. Local restaurants were all good! We rented golf carts for transportations, reserved ahead of time. It was the way to go to dinner and see friends. We also ordered groceries ahead of time online. All was there when we arrived.
