Mexican tradition is well-known not only for its flavorful, zesty cuisine but also for happy and vibrant colors.
While the majority of the Caribbean vacation accommodations follow traditional architecture with its plain pastel tones, there is one very unique villa that brings the multiple colors of the Caribbean into life.
Tucked in the north of Half Moon Bay, this oceanfront property combines the 3200 sq. ft. of the main two-story villa and 600-sq. ft. of the smaller villa, lovingly called Casita de Colores.
The main villa of Casa de Colores boasts 4 tastefully decorated bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 guests.
The living and dining area are elegantly furnished in contemporary Mexican style, with a splendid view of the Caribbean as your backdrop. The fully-equipped kitchen is ideal for casual dining while the colorful dining room is where you can have your more formal meals in style.
The main floor also hosts two guest bedrooms, with identical private bathrooms, comfortable queen-seized beds, lovely futon sofas and a beautiful view of the Caribbean. Each bedroom of Casa de Colores is so lovely and comfortable that it might be difficult to pick your favorite one.
How about the master bedroom? Well, at Casa de Colores you will have 2 of them to choose from!
Both master bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds and en-suite private baths, as well as a private terrace with a panoramic view of the Caribbean.
The choice actually gets down to one factor – whether you prefer a Mayan red color that was believed to promote positive energy or soothing shades of light-blue that dominate the second master bedroom.
The family room which is also situated on the upper floor is the ideal spot for getting together after an exciting day outside. It is equipped with a modern entertainment system as well as a comfortable lounge sofa.
Then Casita de Colores would be your best choice. It is a smaller property that offers more privacy but does not scrimp on style or on the picturesque views.
It’s also great accommodation for the in-laws. They will get a beautiful house with a king-sized bed, en-suite bath, private kitchen and comfortable living room and you will get peace and an advice-free vacation.
To make your stay at Casa de Colores even more bright and colorful, there are plenty of outdoor activities waiting for you – from a refreshing swim in the private lap pool, to the best diving and snorkeling sites just a short walk away, from the fine dining at Playa del Carmen to sightseeing in Tulum.
It does not matter when you are planning your vacation, what counts is WHERE you go. Therefore, make this vacation memorable by opting for the vibrant atmosphere of the Caribbean, flavorful Mexican food and the most colorful villa in the Riviera Maya!

This house is absolutely beautiful and doesn't miss a trick. I rented Casa de Colores for one month and it was an oasis. The lap pool (one of the few in the area) was a huge plus. The staff was spot on! Gabriel and Zuma are always friendly, professional and helpful as well as quiet and unobtrusive. Management arranged cook service and tours without a hitch. The house is new and all the appliances are state of the art. 3 minute walk to Yal Ku Lagoon, 10 minute walk to Half Moon Bay. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and this is, hands down, the most professionally run operation I have ever enjoyed.

Perfectly accomodated my three grown children, their spouses and grandchildren. All adults had their own room with bathroom. All rooms had excellent views. They provided pack and plays for the two babies and the other children had a room w/bath for themselves. The lap pool was just perfect for the kids. The casita was great for me; providing me with my own space. The side facing the sea was relaxing and cool to enjoy an evening cocktail watching the sun go down, with wonderful breezes. We couldn't have been more pleased with the house.
