If you are tired of weekend crowds and the noise of the city then a week at Casa Caribe will have a soothing and rejuvenating effect on your mind, body and soul.
Anchored on the rocky coastline of an ancient coral reef, surrounded by tropical palms and high stone walls, Casa Caribe offers complete security and privacy to large families and couples traveling together. And all this without sacrificing the astounding vista of the Caribbean coast!
In addition this spectacular two-level villa is not short on space, as it features three spacious bedrooms with private en-suite bathrooms and a guest house that can host up to 3 people.
The first level of the Casa Caribe is composed of a light-filled living room, fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, projected for six people to dine in style, and two spacious, yet cozy bedrooms. The great thing about Casa Caribe is that you can enjoy breath-taking views of the emerald green garden and light blue ocean from almost every room.
Not only that, but the living room and both of the lower-level bedrooms have direct access to an ocean-side patio and the pool.
The second level of Casa Caribe features a Grand Master Bedroom that will impress even the pickiest visitors. Besides a king-size bed, modern airy bathroom, a snow-white ocean-side terrace and a door leading to a private sun deck, there is a something most women would go crazy for – an immense walk-in closet! Even after you unpack all of your vacation outfits, there will still be plenty of room left for new ‘additions’ to your wardrobe.
And if more friends or family members want to join you on vacation, there is a guesthouse or ‘casita’ located across from the main villa. The Casita features a fully air-conditioned studio apartment with a private kitchenette, separate bathroom and living area with a flat-screen TV and a large bedroom area designed for 2-3 people.

We stayed at Casa Caribe with our 3 adult children for a reunion of my wife's family and the marriage of our nephew. The home had everything we could need and was quiet and comfortable. It's proximity to other properties rented by other family members easy. When the week ended we didn't want to leave.

The only bummer is that there was a potential for a hurricane and we had to vacate the premise for 2 nights while the weather passed by.
This was a bit of an inconvenience

I feared that a villa with a maid and groundskeeper might be too luxurious for my tastes. Casa Caribe was a perfect balance: a large, comfortable, clean house with very private bedrooms (especially the upstairs master) with friendly, accommodating helpers. The pool was kept spotless and the well-kept tropical grounds were not huge, but gave the house a very private feel. The "iron shore" beach was not very walkable which had the added bonus of keeping the beachfront area private. In addition to the large front patio area, there is a small sandy area with lounge chairs between the house and the rougher beach, so it was possible to sit on a more traditional beach area. A quick 12-minute walk had me at the sandy Akumal Bay beach, ready to snorkel! I will gladly return to Casa Caribe.

Perfect location! The house met our needs - 6 adults. Great price.

Casa caribe is a beautiful comfy home. while some little things were annoying coffee pot didn''t fit the coffee maker so coffee didn''t stay warm. Toaster was iffy at best. Hot water was in short supply. For the most part the home was comfortable and well kept. Luiz and Christina do a fabulous job of keeping up the property.
