Tulum Beach is known for its world-famous pristine beaches and its eco-friendly hotels. However, those who prefer the privacy and serenity of their own beach house now have a unique opportunity to rent the exclusive beachfront Behla accommodation.
Its strategic location, chic modern décor and affordable prices make it a popular choice for large families and groups of 6-8 friends travelling together.
Usually, the first thing that people notice upon entering this amazing beachfront property is the airiness and the amazing amount of light entering the space. This impression is magnified by an open floor plan, high ceilings and extensive glass doors and windows that line the entire beach side of the house, offering you awe-inspiring views of the ocean from just about every part of the house.
The main floor of the Behla incorporates a fully-equipped kitchen and a breakfast counter that faces a stylish living and dining area. When the glass sliders are opened, the refreshing sea breeze fills the rooms, merging the gap between the indoors and the Caribbean. The sand floored terrace with sling-back chairs and hammocks completes the paradise-like picture, tempting you to grab a freshly-made Margarita and spend your ‘siesta’ outside.
The second level of gorgeous ‘casa’ Behla hosts 3 contemporary-style bedrooms, each featuring a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom. A master bedroom opens onto a private terrace and faces the impressive coastline of Tulum Beach. This is an ideal place to enjoy your cup of coffee and savor the splendor of a Caribbean morning. From the master bedroom you will find a steep staircase that leads to a cozy little loft, with a queen size bed which can be used for extra sleeping space.
Two other bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the house. One features an uninterrupted view of the Caribbean and has private access to the ocean terrace. The other bedroom has a partial ocean view and a walk-around which leads to the terrace.
Those, looking for tranquility and more of Tulum’s panoramic views, can take the staircase from the second floor to a rooftop deck. This is an ideal place for taking pictures or observing the impressive view of the Caribbean night sky.
Beach front restaurants, beach clubs, bars and a couple of convenience stores nearby can easily keep you provisioned and entertained when staying in Tulum. And if you’re in the mood to be pampered, right next to Behla is Coqui Coqui hotel and day spa, offering massage, botanical baths, Mayan clay treatment, coconut scrubs and more.
We recommend a rental car for exploring the area and for quick trips into Tulum Pueblo for grocery shopping, stores and more bars and restaurants or for your visits to Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve and Punta Allen and Bahia de la Ascension – a gigantic bay fringed by excellent saltwater fly fishing grounds.
With so much to do and see in Tulum and Behla Beach House, you might only have one regret – not extending your dream vacation a few days longer.
We represent so many small, quaint facilities, privately-owned homes and we coordinate availability with local people. Add Casa Behla to your inquiry, we will get back with you, confirm availability and of course, answer any question you might have!

This is a lovely house. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the sleeping loft. This house doesn't have a/c - which we knew - however the design of the loft is such that whoever sleeps there is way too hot. My son had to sleep on the sofa in the living room which isn't ideal. The staff had provided a fan but it was not adequate - the addition of a window to create a through draft is needed. If you are not going to use the loft then this house is perfect, if you are then be aware that the loft is like a sauna. In all other respects this house is awesome and the location can't be better.

This was my first visit to Tulum and pretty perfect. Our reservation process was smooth and website easy to use. The staff at house could not have been friendlier nor more helpful. And of course all on the most beautiful beach I have experienced on the Caribbean. No surprises and found lots of useful information on website before and during trip.
