Just imagine the liberating sensation of taking your shoes off after the long trip and walking barefoot on soft, warm sand, while letting refreshing waters of Caribbean wash memories of work deadlines and hustled city life away…
This is what the same sensation you will get when staying at Casa Almaviva.
This beautiful oceanfront villa is located in Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve – one of the largest, most beautiful and well-preserved spots of Riviera Maya (just a few miles south of Tulum). You will not see here crowds of noisy tourists, local vendors offering souvenirs or empty beer bottles left on the beach from the night before.
Sian Ka’an is one of those rare places where you can still admire pelicans, tropical birds and hundreds of colorful fish freely swimming along the second largest coral reef in the world.
This piece of Caribbean paradise is still considered one of the most exclusive parts of Mexican Riviera.
In fact, Casa Almaviva has only recently become available for rent and very few people actually know about it. So if you are travelling with a group of 6-7 friends or are planning a family vacation, Casa Almaviva can become YOUR secret getaway.
This modern, elegant 2-storey villa features enormous open floor living and dining space, fully equipped kitchen, 3 airy bedrooms, 2 marble-finished bathrooms and a den that can either serve as an extra bedroom for 2 guests or a TV room.
High thatched roof over the dining area and large wooden louvered doors create a feeling of being indoors and outdoors at once and let the soft sea breeze flow freely through the rooms.
Two of the bedrooms (one featuring a king size bed and the other 2 double beds) are located on the main floor and are facing the palm trees and the beach.
A master bedroom, located on the second floor, pampers its guests with the comfortable king-size bed, cream-colored marble bathroom and a rooftop deck that comes with shade palapa, outdoor furniture and Jacuzzi.
This is the perfect spot to relax and admire breathtaking sunrises over the Caribbean or witness eternal sunsets over endless Yucatan Jungle.
Despite the fact that Casa Almaviva is located in the National Reserve, it does not mean you have to forgo conveniences of the modern world, like wi-fi internet connection, iPod dock station and satellite TV with the possibility to connect your iPad to it.
In fact, you can go even further and have Casa Almaviva arrange anything from a home-cooked dinner to spa services, from yoga practices to private tours and excursions for fishing, bird watching and kayaking.
Bottom line is…Casa Almaviva has everything you need for a tranquil, relaxing, secure and memorable vacation. But it will not remain secret for long. As soon as the word gets out, the prices will probably rise, so make sure that you add it to your inquiry list and request your vacation days ASAP.

Almaviva is a wonderful refuge from the hustle and bustle of life. The house is new, is beautifully decorated and has all of the conveniences necessary. There is a constant breeze and the views are amazing! The beach is gorgeous and the color of the water is spectacular! We went on a wildlife tour in the lagoon with Manuel and saw alligators and trees full of pelicans. The caretakers cooked some fabulous meals and were there to make our visit as comfortable as possible. I would highly recommend this house for families or retreats with friends or as a stop on a tour of the Yucatan.
