If you are an experienced traveler, who likes off the beaten path destinations, doesn’t follow rigid schedules, and prefers local charm to all-inclusive confinements, then Kin Ha hotel might be ideal for you.
Great value, good location and friendly service are the three main characteristics of this little Tulum hotel.
Located just two blocks from Tulum’s main avenue, Kin Ha hotel is close to the numerous restaurants, bars, stores and nightlife of Tulum Pueblo. The white sandy beach and ancient Tulum ruins are within 10-15 minutes drive. So you really won’t have to travel far to explore everything Riviera Maya has to offer, without straining your vacation budget.
Kin Ha Pueblo hotel is actually a more laid-back brother of Playa Kin Ha – a boutique beach front hotel in Tulum. Why is this important? Because guests of Kin Ha Pueblo hotel get free access to the Playa Kin Ha’s beach and receive a 10% discount at their beach front restaurant. Which means that you get the best of both worlds – the benefits of a beachfront hotel during the day and great off the beach rates at night.
What are the Kin Ha Pueblo hotel rooms like? They are bright, clean and comfortable. All of the rooms feature a private bathroom and a front porch with a hammock. The tropical garden, surrounding the property, creates an oasis of privacy and tranquility right in the middle of Tulum. It’s easy to picture yourself relaxing with a good book or enjoying a freshly-brewed cup of morning coffee.
Four out of 10 rooms are air conditioned, the rest come with a ceiling fan. If you believe you may suffer from the summer heat of Mexico, it is better to request an A/C room. Although, during most of the year ceiling fans do a great job to keep the rooms pleasantly cool at night. There is also a Wi-Fi internet connection in the public areas to check your email or do a quick google search on things to do and see in Tulum and Riviera Maya.
Bottom line is: It depends on your priorities. If you seek luxury and prefer waking up with the Caribbean in the background, then you should probably keep looking. If you come to Riviera Maya, to live the adventure, explore Mayan culture, learn a few phrases in Spanish and have a comfortable place to stay, then booking Kin Ha Pueblo hotel might be the right thing to do!
