Casa Caribe Hotel and Guest House
with hotel service during the day, and the laid back chill of a guest house at night.
Much more than a hotel, this quaint bed & breakfast hosts cooking classes, wine tastings, and other events. The friendly staff is comprised of locals and expats who have made Puerto Morelos their home and are happy to share tips on the best tours, restaurants, and sightseeing in the area!
With beautiful grounds and a spacious common area terrace, you’ll feel welcome as soon as you walk in the gate. The ambiance is laid-back and traditional Mexican, like an old, well-loved Hacienda. Recently renovated, Casa Caribe blends modern comfort with rustic appeal.
There are a cozy book nook and an air-conditioned gift shop displaying Mexican textiles, Mexican coffee, and cocoa. Find one-of-a-kind gifts and souvenirs to bring home with you. (A word to the ladies: the handbags and beach cover-ups are gorgeous, as is the jewelry!)
Located on the main street of Javier Rojo Gomez, Casa Caribe is about a 7-minute stroll to the town’s main square and a block from the beach. The protected reef (declared a National Park in 1998), cushions the waves and provides pristine snorkeling and scuba diving sights. You won’t believe the variety of reef fish and coral in the crystal clear depths!
Casa Caribe provides beach towels, umbrellas and lounge chairs across the road near the massage therapy tents. Use the boogie boards to ride the gentle waves that lap the shore.
Explore the beach to your heart’s content! There is always something fun going on at the nearby beach bars —volleyball matches, live music, photo shoots, etc. The seafood is delicious and the views superb at close by seafood restaurants on the beach a few minutes’ walking south. Hire a catamaran for the day and get out on the water! There is also paddle-boarding and horseback riding.
All rooms at this seaside retreat are beautifully spacious and decorated with Mexican and South American accents.
The upstairs bedrooms share a sun deck common area, and each has a private ocean-view balcony. Grab a book and a drink and put your feet up! Or take a little siesta in your hammock. The ground level suite also has a private terrace with sitting area. A pull-out sofa bed can accommodate an extra guest.
The rooms are furnished with a supremely comfortable King bed (or two double beds), mini fridge, TV & DVD player, and coffee maker. The bathrooms are charming with Mexican tiles and hand-painted Talavera sinks.
Borrow a movie from the DVD collection for a chill night-in. Sign up for a class at the Little Mexican Cooking School on-site!
When you’re staying at Casa Caribe, you’re with family! Inquire about this sweet hotel and never look back.
