Tulum Beach, Tulum, Mexico

Azulik Tulum hotel, Riviera Maya

  • Famous for Their ’Wooden Tubs for Two’ Overlooking the Sea

If you are looking to get away from civilization to share a wild, romantic adventure with your loved one – Azulik Hotel is your place.

Breaking every stereotype of noisy and touristy all-inclusive beach resorts, Azulik offers you a primal experience of sun, sand, and the sea. It is a secluded, low-key, and very private, adults-only slice of Caribbean heaven, which consists of 15 beach bungalows.

Nested between the ancient Tulum ruins and the unspoilt Sian Ka’an Reserve, Azulik Boutique Hotel boasts silky sands, lush tropical vegetation, and ever-warm crystalline waters of the Caribbean.

It is a place to get away from it all and rest your mind, body, and soul. No telephones, no electricity, no TV, no noisy bars next door, no dress code… no worries.

Instead of a standard hotel room with a standard hotel design, at Azulik, you get your own private thatched roof bungalow made from rough-hewn log frames and floor to ceiling windows, draped with thick bamboo blinds.

Essentially, each bungalow is very similar, designed as one large living space, featuring an elegant king-size bed, a white lounge sofa suspended by ropes, a Zapote log bathtub, a private bathroom, original rustic furnishings, and a large electronic safe, which can fit all of your devices including laptops. The sea breeze and ceiling fans (operating from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.) help to keep the room cool throughout the day and night.

But the highlight of each bungalow is, without a doubt, a large private deck. Furnished with a hanging bed, hammocks, outdoor furniture, and a unique log-tub, it is the ideal spot to savor a candlelit dinner or soak in the hot tub while gazing up at the stars. It is this terrace area that has drawn many celebrities to this hotel. You just never know who may be staying there during your vacation.

Pick the Best Room for Your Tulum Vacation

The Romance Villa features a somewhat larger deck, upgraded bathroom amenities, and Internet connection (for those who can’t part with the idea of not being able to browse the world wide web).

The Honeymoon Villa offers the most privacy as it is the last one in the row and has no neighbors on one side.

The Mayan Villa, located on the ground floor features an ocean view and is bordered by the exotic jungle of Tulum.

The Mayan Luxury Villa is full of luxury, exclusivity and romanticism. Located close to the beach on the ground floor, with an outside tub.

The Aztec Villa are beautiful wooden villas, located on the top floor with a fascinating view of the Caribbean Sea.

The Aztec Luxury Villa, located on the upper floor and close to the beach, with a beautiful view of the Mexican Caribbean Sea from the outdoor bed on the private terrace.

The Sea Villa is located on the ground floor on the cliff, with stunning views of the turquoise ocean.

The Spa Villa, located on the ground floor and overlooks the lush and beautiful jungle.

The Flow Villa is a lovely cabin located on the top floor, overlooking the beautiful Mayan jungle.

The Sky Villa is located on the cliff on the top floor with an incredible view of the Sea.

Just imagine what it would be like to wake up to the sound of birds singing and head directly to the beach. Snorkel out on Tulum’s coral reef or visit the Tulum ruins. Enjoy your margaritas on the deck, share a romantic dinner under the stars, and make love to the murmur of waves caressing the shore.

Relaxed comfort and style for adults seeking adventure

Azulik Resort is not for those who expect 5-star hotel luxury and comfort. It’s a rough jewel, on one of the most beautiful beaches of Riviera Maya that is more suited for people who seek privacy, romance, and a Robinson Crusoe-type vacation!

If you are one of these adventure-seekers, make sure you book your bungalow ASAP! With just 15 of them at Azulik Beach Resort, they get booked quickly! Inquire about this unique boutique hotel and start dreaming of your Tulum vacation.
