When people think about a spring break in Mexico, they imagine loud college students, crowded beaches and lots of beer. Well, Half Moon Bay is one of those rare, hidden vacation spots that will guarantee you peace, quiet and lots of sun even during such busy times as the Spring Break! Which makes it a perfect getaway for a couple or a group of 3 friends who want to stay away from the noise of the city.
The Crystal Azul Condos is conveniently located in the lovely North Akumal area, where delightful restaurants and shops are just a short walk from the building complex. Moreover, the unit is structured to ensure that you won’t be able to hear any street noise or heavy traffic, so nothing will disturb you from enjoying a good night’s rest.
The modern design of the Crystal Azul condos, including an open floor plan, cool tile floors and the light and airy ambiance makes it easy to hide away from the heat of the Mexican sun. Just picture yourself, sitting in a comfy rocking chair, sipping your cold beverage and watching your favorite programs or flipping through the pictures you took the day before.
And if you feel hungry, you will find everything you need in the kitchen to prepare snacks or make yourself a delicious cocktail. There is even a dining room area with an original tiled table to add a vibrant Mexican flare to your everyday meals.
As for the bedroom, it has a lovely queen-size bed, plenty of storage space to fit your favorite summer outfits, swimming suits and outdoor gear, and two large windows facing the jungle-side of the Crystal Azul. When the first thing you see upon waking up is the sunlight passing through the palm fronts growing right outside your window, you simply cannot start off the day on a wrong foot.
The comfort of Crystal Azul may provide you with a good night’s rest, but it will be the beauty of Mayan Riviera and local fauna that will keep you on the beach and in the water most of the time.
You will love being near the ocean, seeing rays, tropical fish and turtles just a few yards away from the beach and swimming in the refreshing turquoise waters of the Caribbean.
So if you are longing for an affordable, relaxing and beautiful experience of Mayan Riviera, there is no better choice than staying at Crystal Azul. Just don’t wait too long to make a reservation! As this lovely condo is highly requested by those, who want to avoid crowded beaches and loud music from nightclubs.
We represent so many small, quaint facilities, privately-owned homes and we coordinate availability with local people. Add Crystal Azul to your inquiry, we will get back with you, confirm availability and of course, answer any question you might have!

Found the perfect place to escape the busy city/resort energy & chill out, full kitchen & wi-fi allowed me to keep in tune with home and cook my own meals. The beach was accessible across the street for amazing sunrises, stargazing & fabulous snorkelling . Comfortable bed & kind hearted cleaning staff daily made me feel righty at home. A corner store is close by for basics, also within a 10-15 minute walk into Akumal town for groceries, water activities like scuba diving or the collectivos to get into Playa del Carmen & Tulum. Great place for my budget solo vacation & would recommend to friends With a cenote & jungle life right outside my window, I was in the Half Moon Bay heaven??_also super close to Yal Ku Lagoon.

Except for the first night at this property, we were happy with the condo. It was airy, quiet, comfortable and clean. The first night was a horror. After travelling 23 hours from our home we entered a condo which was not ready. There was a mix up and the management and cleaning help did not know we were arriving. There was nobody to contact at that time so we slept, I assume, on unclean linens and showered in a dirty bathroom. The following day, things worked out and we were, thereafter, as noted, quite happy.

With the exception of being bit, it was what I expected.

We wanted an economical place to stay in the Akumal area for a few nights. Crystal Azul is a basic clean and comfortable accommodation. With instructions from Loco-Gringo you check yourself in. There is supposably a property manager in the area, but we never saw him. It would have been helpful if there would have been an info binder in the condo to help with things like how to work the air conditioner, how to get on wifi, where the beach access is, restaurant info, etc. Fortunately my husband was able to figure out the wifi (he rifled around and found a little paper he thought might be wifi info. It worked) and he was able to figure out the air conditioner (I never could figure it out). Scott at Loco-Gringo was very responsive via email to help answer questions. The property owner could provide a little better customer service, but overall it 's a good place to stay, and we would stay here again.
