Hotel Playa Kin Ha has an excellent location on Tulum beach! If you are looking for casual un-plugged beach front comfort at a reasonable price, Hotel Playa Kin Ha is a good choice.
This boutique hotel has only six rooms; three beach front rooms (above the restaurant) and three partial ocean view rooms (behind the restaurant). Beach front rooms have an ocean view, terrace, private bathroom and hotel water, but no fans, air conditioning or electrical outlets. Partial ocean view rooms each have a floor fan, private bathroom and hot water, but no air conditioning or electrical outlets. There are no extra beds.
24 hour electricity is provided by solar panels so there should be somewhere to plug in your iPod, cell phone or other (low consumption) electronic device (please inquire). The room electricity is for lighting only (and the floor fans in the partial ocean view rooms). The on site restaurant serves Italian and Mexican cuisine, as well as grilled fish and seafood, Italian coffee and expresso, and fresh bread.
