Villa Paloma is a deluxe four bedroom beach front vacation villa on Tankah Bay beach. This is a wonderful perspective from which to enjoy a dazzling view over wide Tankah Bay, one of the largest residential bays on the coast.
The beach level of Villa Paloma begins with an entrance foyer featuring double spiral stairways that lead to the upper level. This villa has an elegant symmetry to it and the formal entry foyer is just a prelude of good things to come. A grand ocean side with a cathedral ceiling and towering windows provides a wide view of blue Tankah Bay just over the pool. There is a formal living room under the cathedral ceiling, and a second entertainment living room with TV, DVD, a large couch, table and a couple chairs. Around the corner is a fully equipped kitchen with an island and raised bar stool seating. A wet bar has a similar design to the kitchen with raised seating and it is conveniently close to both living rooms; an excellent set up for Happy Hour!
Upstairs are three bedrooms, two on the ocean side of the villa, and one facing the garden and jungle. Each has a king size bed. Two guest bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom and the master bedroom has a private bath. The ocean facing bedrooms each have a private ocean view terrace. The fourth bedroom is actually in the Casita building adjacent to the main house, and it has a king size bed, kitchenette and private bathroom.
The pool features a slightly elevated shallow area just above a deeper main pool and the entire pool is ringed by a sun deck that opens directly onto the beach. There is a tiled outdoor shower for your convenience and ample beach towels are provided. Lounge chairs are on hand for sunbathing at pool side and on the beach (not shown). Two outdoor shaded seating areas, one off the entertainment living room and one off the dining room, provide another nice place from which to enjoy the view.
Out on Tankah beach directly in front of the villa there is plenty of room for sunbathing, however water shoes are recommended for walking out in the bay. Strolling up and down the beach is a daily pilgrimage for the beach combers in your group. Also, an added bonus of this location is having both Blue Sky and Casa Cenote restaurants so nearby for meals out, not to mention partying at Happy Hour with other intrepid travelers such as yourselves. You'll find the tails get taller as the beverages go down.
Out on Tankah bay you'll find excellent kayaking and snorkeling. Two kayaks are provided for your waterborne explorations. Villa Paloma is a good choice for families seeking a deluxe interior, 4 bedrooms, casita, great sea view, pool, beach and the comfort of central air conditioning. Also, for freshwater swimming virtually next door to the villa, the natural beauty of Manatee Cenote should not to be overlooked.
