With only 6 air conditioned beach front rooms, pool and lots of sand and blue water, this cozy little beach hotel could be the antidote for your urban anxiety. The Blue Sky hotel
is located in tranquil Tankah Mexico on the Riviera Maya coast, roughly
70 miles south down the coastal highway from Cancun. If you are looking
for a place to kick back and relax away from the crowds, and still not
sacrifice your creature comforts, this is an excellent choice.
 About the hotel Blue Sky is a small deluxe beach front hotel with only 2 Master suites, 2 Junior suites and 2 Standard rooms.
All are tastefully decorated with a Caribbean flair and have furnished
patios or terraces that face the pool and sea. Master suites
have one queen size bed and one queen sofa sleeper; Junior suites have
one queen size bed and one double sofa sleeper, and standard guest rooms
have one queen size bed. All have air conditioning, ceiling fans and mini fridges. During the day guest have access to a wireless internet connection in case you need to get online.
 On site restaurant For your dining pleasure Blue Sky has a wonderful gourmet restaurant/bar offering fresh seafood specialties and Italian~international cuisine. This is some of the best food on the coast and very convenient for hotel guests (the public is welcome as well).
Nearby adventures Right next to Blue Sky hotel
is Manatee cenote, a beautiful blue lagoon that's a popular snorkeling spot. For activities,
in calm seas Tankah Bay is a good place to kayak and snorkel, and just
15 minutes south are the ruins of Tulum, Tulum pueblo, the road west to the Coba ruins, and the freshwater cenotes along the Coba road. The
Tulum pueblo (town of Tulum) has a variety services including restaurants, gift shops, grocery stores, nightlife and more. Tulum's beaches are a short distance east on the Coba road. And 20 minutes to the north of Blue Sky hotel is the sea side town of Akumal. |
