About the hotel Blue Sky is a small deluxe beach front hotel with only two Master suites, two Junior suites and two Standard rooms. All are tastefully decorated with a Caribbean flair and have furnished patios or terraces that face the pool and sea. Master suites are on the second level, ocean view, and have two large bedrooms; one with a king size bed and private bath, and a second with a queen size bed and private bath. Master suites have air conditioning, a small fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, CD player and a safety deposit box. Sliding glass patio doors from both bedrooms open to the ocean view terrace. Junior suites have one queen size bed and one double sofa sleeper. And Standard guest rooms have one queen size bed. All have air conditioning, ceiling fans and mini fridges. During the day guest have access to a wireless internet connection in case you need to get online.
On site restaurant For your dining pleasure Blue Sky has a wonderful gourmet restaurant/bar offering fresh seafood specialties and Italian~international cuisine. This is some of the best food on the coast and very convenient for hotel guests (the public is welcome as well).
Nearby adventures Right next to Blue Sky hotel is Manatee cenote, a beautiful blue lagoon that's a popular snorkeling spot. For activities, in calm seas Tankah Bay is a good place to kayak and snorkel, and just 15 minutes south are the ruins of Tulum, Tulum pueblo, the road west to the Coba ruins, and the freshwater cenotes along the Coba road. The Tulum pueblo (town of Tulum) has a variety services including restaurants, gift shops, grocery stores, nightlife and more. Tulum's beaches are a short distance east on the Coba road. And 20 minutes to the north of Blue Sky hotel is the sea side town of Akumal.
