This private two bedroom vacation home offers quality and luxury on the beach. Playa Belleza is the kind of place where you feel instantly comfortable; a home-away-from-home if you will of style and casual class. Solid mahogany has been used for all the cabinets, doors and windows. All floors, counter tops and bathroom treatments are either tiled, faced in smooth-cut limestone or solid marble. The ambiance is sophisticated yet informal; a perfect complement to the pool and beach.
The lower level is the main living space for the house and has a central spiral stairway that goes to two identical bedroom suites above. On one side of the room is a fully equipped kitchen with all the accessories, and a dining area that seats four, separated from the kitchen by a breakfast bar. Around the corner is a bathroom finished in marble, cut limestone and mahogany. A glass door opens to a Bali-style double shower faced in limestone, with plenty of room for two to enjoy.
The living room is across from the kitchen and dining area. It has a large L shaped couch facing the pool with a view through glass and wooden louvers. All the exterior doors are glass framed in solid mahogany, flanked by screened mahogany louvers.
Two bedroom suites are on the upper level, each equipped with a luxurious Sealy Posturpedic mattress, native art, handmade armoire, sitting area with double-sized futon couch and a vanity for your personal effects. Each suite is fully air conditioned with a quiet individually controled mini-split air conditioner. Mahogany framed glass doors open to a furnished ocean view terrace. Louvered and screened side panels open when you want to enjoy the sea breeze. Ceiling fans are throughout the house.
The pool is 40 feet long with a shallow kids area and seating in the water for mom to keep watch. Chaise lounges are around the pool with more out on the beach under the beach side shade palapa. There are hammocks between coconut palms and a stone shower-tower & foot wash for your convenience as you exit the beach. Two double kayaks and snorkeling equipment are provided.
The colorful garden lawn area has two picnic tables handmade made from a driftwood tree; one at the pool and another overlooking the beach. There is a large barbecue area and fountain in the front courtyard. The gardens feature a giant cactus, palms and plenty of soft cool grass.
There are three restaurants in Tankah Tres, a convenient way to mix it up a little with lunch or dinner by the sea. Casa Playa Belleza is on Tankah Bay (Tankah Bay~Tankah Tres.. same thing), one of the largest bays in the Riviera Maya and a great one for kayaking and snorkeling, or just gazing out on the Caribbean from your private beach front palapa. When you want to get out and explore, Akumal is 15 minutes north and Tulum 15 minutes south for more fun with beaches, restaurants and lots things to see and do.
