The Sian Kaan is an extensive nature preserve, a dream come true for nature lovers, but there are very few houses. Casa de los Pelicanos is one of the most deluxe, powered by wind and solar energy, with a state of the art water filtration system to provide purified drinking water.
The living room and dining room are an open floor plan with plenty of windows and two sliding glass doors to the furnished ocean deck. The kitchen is just off the dining room and is fully equipped. You'll find quality throughout this wonderful home; in its decor, appliances and furnishings. Solid mahogany cabinets, granite kitchen counter tops, stainless appliances and even a bar of sorts in the kitchen. Happy hour out on the deck or on the upper terrace watching the sunset over the lagoon is a great finish to any day.
There are three bedrooms, one on the lower level and two on the upper level. Each has one king size bed, private bathroom, and a beautiful view of the Caribbean. The upper level bedrooms open to the upper level terrace and the lower level bedroom, to the ocean deck. For groups up to 10 people in number, additional bedding is available in the form of two queen size air-beds.
Tulum beach restaurants, beach bars and services are just 6 kilometers north, so even though you have your private paradise in Casa de los Pelicanos, you can mingle with others enjoying the beach in just a few minutes. Nearby Tulum Pueblo has major shopping, banks, more restaurants and bars, night clubs, everything you might need.
