Casa Sophia Damage/ Security Deposit
One week prior arrival Kelley, Casa Sophia's representative, will email a Pay Pal invoice for USD $1,000 to the guests for them to make payment (using either credit card or Pay Pal account depending on if they are a Pay Pal member or not. Any major credit card can be used if they are not Pay Pal members).
On the guests' day of departure Mr. Jaime Salazar, the Casa Sophia House Manager, will do a walk-through of the Casa with the guests prior to their checkout.
If all is well the owners will then refund the security deposit within 5 business days, in full, back to the guests through Pay Pal, and they will be refunded for the full amount of their security deposit in the same manner through which they made the payment (Pay Pal account or credit card depending on if they are a member of Pay Pal or not).
If there are any damages to deduct against the security deposit, then Mr. Jaime Salazar will review these with the guests in person and take photographs of the areas which are in need of repair. He will then solicit an estimate to repair the damage(s) and email the estimate to the guests within 5 business days of their departure. The total of the estimate will be deducted from the security deposit and the balance refunded to the guests within 5 business days of their departure date.
