Technical Dive training and logistical support for cavern and cave diving, deep air diving and even mixed gas diving can be found at some of the dive centers from Playa del Carmen south to Tulum. This includes Enriched Air Nitrox Diving (EANx) as well. The following is a partial listing of facilities.

Cavern diving can be enjoyed by divers with an open water certification while under the direct supervision of a qualified guide. Cavern diving takes place in the sunlit areas of a cave within 200 linear feet from an openwater area. The average depth is @35 feet and most dives last around 30 minutes. Water temperature is 77-79F. Cavern dive training is available with independent instructors and some dive facilities. The dive facilities listed offer cavern diving "tours".  Instruction in cavern, cave & other aspects of technical diving are listed with the facility or instructor.  Cave diving requires special training and is not available to untrained divers.
