"Spacious and tastefully elegant" is a good start to describing this beautiful five bedroom villa just off Puerto Aventuras' golf course. As you approach you will notice the gigantic chandelier above the handcrafted front doors, just a foreshadow of pleasant surprises to come.
Once inside you'll see everything is a little grander, a little nicer; like the extra wide overstuffed chairs in the living room and the white onyx end tables that glow from within. Across from the living room is an elegant dining room which seats 10 in perfect style. Just behind it, a gourmet kitchen is all done in mahogany, granite and stainless with a commercial grade stove/oven, dishwasher and all the accessories you're likely to need.
There are five bedrooms, one on the ground level and four upstairs. Four have king size beds and one has two queen beds. All have private bathrooms and access to either a terrace (upper level) or the pool (lower level). The decor is elegant with fine furnishings, superb craftsmanship and plenty of luxurious space.
There are two terraces on the upper level, one facing west overlooking the pool, and the other facing east with built-in couches, a shade arbor and wet bar for entertaining. The upper level landing is an entertainment area as well with a built-in couch, coffee table and flat wall mounted TV.
Up from there, the rooftop observation deck has a 360 degree view of surrounding Puerto Aventuras and its landscaping, and a partial view of the sea. It features a shaded hammock area, sofa lounge area with shade arbor, and a decadently luxurious day-bed. The rooftop is wonderful at daybreak or sunset, for coffee or cocktails, or simply stargazing at night.
Back down at pool level the living room opens to the furnished pool deck which is surrounded by palms. There is a lovely waterfall cascade, plenty of deck space in both sun and shade, and chaise lounges for either tanning or relaxing in the shade.
Included in the rental is a guest membership card to the Omni Hotel which allows access to use the Omni beach side lounge chairs, pool and towel service. The card also carries a 20% discount on all food and beverages served at the hotel beach or in the beach bar and restaurant. The beach at the Omni Hotel is just a few minutes down the street and provides the perfect snorkeling venue inside the protected reef. There are two bicycles for your use to ride around the Puerto Aventuras community.
