Barceló Maya Colonial Beach and Barceló Maya Tropical Beach are two 5 star all inclusive hotels with 958 rooms, all part of the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort resort villas.
Rooms The Colonial offers colonial style guest rooms, and the Tropical's rooms have a contemporary Mexican style. Each air conditioned suite is equipped with a king, or two double beds; a living room with sofa, satellite televisions, coffee facilities, minibar stocked daily, a safe for valuables. The spacious bathrooms with showers. Each hotel has 420 standard rooms, 50 jr suites and 8 suites. Restaurants and bars: nine restaurants; 2 buffet, 5 specialty restaurants, and two beach restaurants. There are seven bars: two lobby bars, two threatre bars, two swim-up bars, and one cigar ballroom.
The facilities also include: a kids club, gift shops, business center, three swimming pools and one kid pool with water games. The complex has an open air theater, shopping center, chapel, medical services and a disco. Guests of the Colonial and Tropical hotels also have access to the Barcelo Maya Beach and Maya Caribe hotels.
About the Barceló Maya This is beautiful beach front Riviera Maya all-inclusive resort consisting of five areas called: The Barceló Maya Beach, Barceló Maya Caribe, Barceló Maya Colonial Beach, Barceló Maya Tropical Beach and the Barceló Maya Palace. The Caribe and Beach sections are paired together on the southern part of the property, the Colonial and Tropical sections are paired together in the middle, and the Palace section is on the north end of the beach. All front on an amazingly beautiful 2 kilometer stretch of private beach. Several large swimming pools are right on the beach amid palms and tropical landscaping, with sunbathing areas by the pool or on the beach, and guest service areas here and there.
