Damage/Security Deposit for Casas del Sol Vista & Casas del Sol Altavista
Side-by-side vacation rental villas in Playacar Phase 1, Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, Mexico
The damage/security deposit is $1,000.00 USD per villa. It must be collected at or before time of arrival.
After checkout the property will be cleaned and a thorough inventory taken before the next guests check in. Provided there is no more than reasonable clean up and nothing damaged or missing, then a check for the returned security deposit will be mailed to you within 14 days of departure. It is understood that damages or lost items will be deducted at replacement cost, which may include but is not limited to labor expense, shipping and importation costs. Locked pantries and closets are reserved for the use of the property owner and are not included in this rental. You as the guest agree to take all reasonable steps to ensure that your family and other guests in your party adhere to the rules and regulations affecting the villa that are outlined in the guest book that is presented to you at check in.
Guests are responsible for the property, its contents, and themselves during occupancy. Guests must lock windows and doors securely when not on the premises, and must observe all cautions, as given in the "Guest Book" or from the property Owners or their staff. Each property is privately owned, so decor, colors and inventories may change. Rearranging the furniture or removing any items from the villa is prohibited. It is further understood that exceeding the maximum occupancy will forfeit the security deposit.
Only registered guests are allowed inside the villa and on the property. Permission of the villa's management must be obtained for access to the property by any non-registered guests. Parties or events are not permitted without express consent of the property manager.
Check-In at 3:00 P.M. Check-Out is at 11:00 A.M.
Questions, and Maintenance
The property owners and their staff work hard to ensure that the villa and amenities are in place and in good working order. the villa's management will be available to handle questions, concerns and supervise maintenance. In case of a maintenance problem, the villa's management will strive to have the problem repaired as soon as possible after being notified. However, no refund or rate adjustment shall be made for unforeseen failures such as the supply of electricity, water, pool filtration systems, air conditioning, telephone, television or satellite service, appliances, etc. It is guest's obligation to report any problems or damage immediately to the villa's management.
Electronic Safes and Keys
There is a $100 charge for lost property keys or safe keys to replace the locks.
The renter named in this agreement will be responsible for themselves and all guests. The renter acknowledges that the villa's management, property owners, employees, and agents do not carry personal liability insurance and can not be held responsible regardless of fault, for any accident, loss, damage or injury suffered by the renter, members of their party or any other guests which the renter or their party have allowed access to the property, regardless if said loss is a result directly or indirectly from acts of god, danger incident to the sea, any body of water, fire, breakdown of machinery, equipment, acts of government or other authorities, de jure or de facto, wars (whether declared or not), hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, custom regulations, delays or cancellations of or changes in itineraries or schedule or from acts of omission of any airline. Furthermore, the renter will release and hold harmless any and all parties involved with the rental, management and reservations of the property and to release and hold harmless it's owners or representatives for any loss or damage to personal property or for any injury and/or death.
Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant to the villa's management that: (a) you are over the age of eighteen (18) and have the power and authority to enter into and
perform your obligations under this agreement. You have provided accurate and complete registration information, including without limitation, your legal name, address and telephone number.
Listing and Rental Service
By using the Service, you acknowledge that the Service is a listing and rental service and that information about a particular property is supplied by the property owner, not by the Company. The price and other terms of any rental remain subject to decisions of the property owner. The Company cannot always verify all information that property owners supply or guarantee the properties they offer.
This Agreement is effective upon your acceptance as set forth herein and shall continue in full force until terminated.
The owner and staff reserve the right to cancel this agreement in the event of inclement weather without penalty.
