Casa Oasis has a great location on Playacar Phase 1 beach. This beach has just been restored (2010) with huge amounts of fine white sand transforming it into a wide, white Caribbean playground. While Casa Oasis is certainly not the "new kid" on the block (1st wave construction of Phase 1), it has the key essentials like a swimming pool, air conditioning, full kitchen and plenty of living space with a fabulous sea view.
The beach front portion of the home has the main living space including the kitchen, dining room and two living room areas. One has the TV in a wooden armoire, the other has the sea as its focal point. All areas have a sea view through glass sliders that open to the wood planked beach deck and pool.
There are three bedrooms, the first being the master bedroom which is just off the main living space and has air conditioning, a king bed, private bathroom, and a couple lovely murals. The door to the master bedroom is by the dining room. Two more bedrooms are on the opposite side of the house and are accessed via the exterior deck. The first of these has a queen bed and private bathroom, writing desk and built-in shelving. The other bedroom is through a door on the far wall of the first, and it also has an exterior door. It has a queen bed, double bed, TV and private bathroom.
The pool and wooden deck make the sea front that much more pleasurable. Splash in the pool, lay in the sun or chill in the shade, it's you choice. The kitchen is just inside for provisions. If you have kids they are easy to keep an eye on. Undoubtedly you will spend much of your time on the deck or in the pool.
Playacar beach is two steps down from the deck and promises great sunbathing, fun and games, beach combing, and swimming when the sea is calm. Beach combing north leads into central Playa del Carmen (about 10 minutes). South goes in front of Playacar's finest all inclusive resorts.
