Yaxchilan Breeze
This room is inspired by the ruin of Yaxchilan, a lesser known ruin on the Usamasinta River, between Guatemala and Mexico, the relief at the left is copied from one of the lintels rescued from the Mangrove jungle after Hurricane Dean. It greets you as you enter the door, that is if you can take your eyes off the view from the deck. The craftsman style king-size bed can also be separated to create two singles. The large room also has a futon. Two opposite windows provide great cross breeze for comfortable sleeping.
- Room includes: King size Craftsman style bed out of local Tsalam wood, Sofa Bed, Hammock and hammock hooks inside and out, 2 deck chairs, Talavera tiled bathroom, Private entrance, Private deck, Fresh water, Hand painted game table/writing desk. The charming sunny bathroom has stained concrete counters, Talavera sink and tile trim, and handmade rustico framed mirror.
Palenque Vista
Palenque's elevated King size bed and stone headboard not only are very romantic, but allow you to see the beach when sitting up in bed. All the beach view rooms are large, but this one is extra large! Palenque has a great view from the deck. Looking out onto the sea whether sitting in deck chairs or lounging on the hammock. A mosaic carpet greets you on one of two private decks.

Unique touches of elegance set these cabanas apart, such as large bathrooms with showers and hand-painted sinks. Windows on every wall allow the Caribbean breeze to cool the room. Wake up to the sounds of the waves breaking against the shore and a spectacular Caribbean sunrise without having to get up to view it!
- Cabanas include: A small kitchenette with two burner stove top and 1/2 fridge allow you to fix snacks (on the VERY rare occasions you don't get enough to eat on the Mayan Beach Garden Restaurant meal plan!) The kitchenette is made of stained concrete tops and hand-painted Mexican talavera tile trim. Kitchen utensils for 4 persons included. Some cabanas have King size beds that can be converted to two singles. All beds, including singles include extra-comfortable pillow top mattress pads to make your nights as comfortable as your days. You didn't come to the beach to spend your time inside so we provide each cabana with a large outside deck with a fantastic view of the beach, whether you are hanging in your hammock or lounging in chairs with a MBG Margarita.

  • For only $21.75 per person per day, you can take advantage of our all-inclusive meal package. (Price subject to change)
  • All meal packages Include lunch and dinner, packed lunches for day trips, iced tea or limeade for lunch and purified ice-water for dinner. Sodas and alcoholic drinks are extra. Special diets can be accommodated. Please contact us in advance as some diets may be extra.
  • Ala cart prices average $8 for lunch and $14.50 for dinner. To take advantage of the package price, meals must be paid for in advance or at check-in.
  • Unfortunately they can't "mix and match" A la carte and meal packages, but the restaurant is open for those who only want to eat in occasionally.
