Soliman Bay beach after hurricane Wilma Riviera Maya, Mexico

» Post hurricane Wilma photo/info updates

The weather was a bit overcast yesterday, Nov 1st, so you will have to use your imagination to get the sunshine and blue sky in there, and remove a certain amount of debris that still remains on the sand. The beach is nice and wide in just about all locations with the possible exception of the south end where storm wave erosion has reclaimed part of the primary dune. Even so there is almost a new beach there. Casa Soliman and Soliman Guest house on Soliman Bay's north end actually picked up some beach, as did several spots along the center of Soliman Bay. Turtle grass, some trash and some rocks still remain in some places, mostly where there are vacant beach front lots.
