These economical casitas are just on the other side of the building from Half Moon Bay beach (photo above is beach side of the building). There are 3 casita/bungalows on the ground level of the Luna Azul condominiums, facing the garden and gravel parking area. Inside the bungalows you will find a comfortable one-room arrangement with small kitchen, either a king bed or 2 double beds, and a private bathroom with shower, maximum 2-4 people.
Stores and restaurants nearby The sandy beach in front of the condo is ideal for sunbathing. Good snorkeling is at your fin tips just beyond the surf line in Half Moon Bay. For more snorkeling, Yal-ku lagoon is short walk up the road. Two restaurants are nearby to the north; La Lunita and Que Onda near Yal-ku lagoon. To the south is La Caleta convenience store and La Buena Vida bar/restaurant. Farther south in the heart of Akumal are a host of shops, restaurants, Lol-ha beach bar, diving and Akumal's main beach. Dive groups are welcome at Luna Azul and daily maid service is included.
