Each beach front condo has air conditioned bedroom(s) and a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living area and either a patio or a balcony looking out on Half Moon Bay and the Caribbean. Hotel rooms are available, but many prefer the spaciousness of a one or two bedroom condo for their vacations. Bedding in 2 bedroom units includes a variety of sizes to suit your needs and usually a king size in the one bedroom units. Each unit has a full kitchen with four burner stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc. These condos are all very nicely maintained with excellent views and beach access to one of the best parts of Half Moon Bay. There are also 3 street side studio bungalows that are a single room with kitchenette, 2 double beds or 1 king, and a bathroom, right on the parking lot, maximum 2-4 people, more on Luna Azul casita/bungalows...
Stores and restaurants nearby The sandy beach in front of the condo is ideal for sunbathing. Good snorkeling is at your fin tips just beyond the surf line in Half Moon Bay. For more snorkeling, Yal-ku lagoon is short walk up the road. Two restaurants are nearby to the north; La Lunita in Hacienda de la Tortuga, and Que Onda near Yal-ku lagoon. To the south is La Caleta convenience store just a minute walk away, and farther south in the heart of Akumal are a host of shops, restaurants, a beach bar, diving and Akumal's main beach. Dive groups are welcome at Luna Azul.
