Casa Texoma is a good choice for a vacation with family and friends because there is so much furnished living space inside and outside to the villa. And Casa Texoma has many personal touches making it feel more like a friends exotic home rather than just a vacation rental villa.
Great location on the beach Casa Texoma is a cozy two story split level house, equipped with two full kitchens, two living rooms (one on each level), four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, beach front pool, deck, and beach tanning area and WiFi Internet. Each of the four bedrooms has individually controled air conditioning, private ocean side terrace and bathroom. All the bedrooms but one are on the ocean side of the house. Three of the bedrooms have king size beds and the garden side bedroom has trundle beds that can be used as a king. Ceiling fans are throughout the house, even in the bathrooms. A ocean terrace off the 2nd floor living room has a lovely view of the pool, sea and palms. A little higher up, the rooftop observation deck and tanning area is a great place to enjoy the breeze, entertain or stargaze in the evening. There is a built-in couch for your comfort and everything is painted a nice cool white.
Inside & beach side The front entry to the house is set back from the street and surrounded by lush manicured greenery. A separate small casita on the street is where the on site caretakers live. Inside the main house, the entry foyer opens to a sunken living room with glass sliders to the pool/beach patio. The kitchen is to the left and the living room straight ahead. The kitchen on this level has a wrap-around counter with seating. There is a formal dining room with another slider to the pool/beach. A nice alternate dining area is the pool patio with two furnished living spaces just outside the slider. Toward the surf line you'll find several sun lounges and chairs for your tanning sessions.
The beach, kayaking and nearby The beach is fine sand and good for beach combing and sunbathing. Use of a kayak is included with the house. Greater Akumal Bay is wide and interesting from a kayak. An outer reef reduces the wave action and most of the bay is shallow for decent snorkeling in calm water. Central Akumal is 5 minutes north and Tulum 25 minutes south for shopping, restaurants, scuba diving and more.
