Casa Balam Ek has a gorgeous view of the Caribbean and all of Half Moon Bay as seen from its south rim. The seaside swimming pool is surrounded by the ocean deck, perfect for sunbathing or dining in the shaded terrace area. On the ground floor the living room has a L-shaped couch, large flat TV with satellite service, movie channels, a DVD and CD stereo. Adjacent to the living room are the kitchen and dining room. Both enjoy a view of the pool and Caribbean.
Balam Ek has three air conditioned bedrooms in the main house. Each has a private bathroom. The master bedroom is on the second floor and has a king size bed and an attached half-bedroom with a single bed. This is a nice arrangement for parents with a small child. The second bedroom upstairs has two double beds and a single bed. Downstairs, a third bedroom has a king size bed and is closer to the swimming pool. The casita is an autonomous apartment with an additional king size bed, living room and kitchen, plus a jacuzzi tub and ocean side patio.
Daily maid service and a gardener are included. A cook is also available upon request. The Buena Vida Restaurant and bar is within walking distance. Divers are welcome at Balam Ek.
